80-99 Miami. We had a great third quater lets see if we can make a great come back and get the W. Gooden has 24 points with 9 boards and McGrady has 9 assists.
They made a run at the end, brought it close, but couldnt really get it to the point to tie it or take the lead.. Oh well.. Thats another loss..
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">The Miami Heat may be all right without rookie Dwyane Wade after all. Eddie Jones scored a season-high 33 points and Lamar Odom added 12 of his 19 in the fourth quarter as the Heat held on for a 112-101 victory over the Orlando Magic. Miami placed Wade - the team's second-leading scorer - on the injured list prior to the game due to a bone bruise in his right wrist. But the lowest-scoring team in the league displayed some rarely used weapons en route to its best output of the season. Rafer Alston started in Wade's place and made four 3-pointers in the first quarter as Miami jumped out to a 40-24 advantage. The Heat made a franchise-record seven 3-pointers in the opening 12 minutes and finished 11-of-22 from the arc. </div> Recap Box Score
Nice comeback Magic we thought you all were going to get blowed out but like always you all proved me wrong. But what made me mad was that the Magic let the Heat score the last 8 or 9 points and after Tracy Mcgrady missed his three and Gordon missed his easy shots we gave up. That's why they say quitters never win and I see why. The least the Magic could of done was make the points margin smaller. Good game Magic let's try to win the next one.
This always seems to happen. We play 2-3 solid quarters of basketball, but then lose it in the others. We need to play a good 48 minute game for once. Nice game for Gooden though. Definately deserves a mention in the 6th man award race.

I think Gooden should start he proved himself in this game IMO.
They paniced in my opinion, they should've stuck to getting past and getting the easy shots in, it would've brought them closer, maybe not as quick but a better success rate nevertheless. They tried though, the Heat just played good D as always and they were unable to get past it. Well partially, just not very well.
T-mac wasn't hungry at all. He was just shooting jumpers like always. I think he drove to the basket like twice. But I was so disgusted with thier play I turned it off halfway through the 3rd qt.Thier zone defense sucks so bad it's not even funny. It's like the magic are daring people to hit wide open shots and it all starts with t-mac he looks like he is lost out there and doesn't challenge any shots. He knows what he is doing but he just doesn't want to. he is not giving a 100%, I guess he figures the season is a wash anyway. He was playing like this before the so called injury also.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting jump:</div><div class="quote_post">Its painful to watch him like this. All that talent...</div> Yes it is, he just doesn't have passion for the game right now. I guess having to carry such a big load for 3 straight years can do it to you though. But that shouldn't be an excuse.
Hes in a postion like Kevin Garnett. But sure isnt handling it like KG did. KG had no talent on the team besides for a few others helping him, like Wally. McGrady dosnt have that much support either, like KG did.. But KG didnt do this.. He stuck it out until he got help.. and if McGrady wants to show he is the team captian, he will stick it out and keep playing till eventually he does get the help..
