    play by play man in the nba
    in my view its definetly Chuck Swirsky cause he is definetly the most enthusiastic of anyone ive seen and hes got one of the best basketball minds out there. He even gave VC his nickname "Air Canada!!!!!!!!!!"

    I agree Chuck is the best. I'm suprised he isn't in any Video Games

    Chuck is easily the best..... Today i was just watching the Detroit and Portland game i got no clue who the announcer was but it got so boring i stopped watching after the 1st quarter...Chuck deserves to be in a video game

    yeah .. I almost felt asleep .. they were sooooo boring !
    BTW .. NBA TV's commentary team is so bad ... aside from Spero Adidas no one deserves to be listned to !

    I like Mike Fratello cause he's one of the oldest and best in the business. But yeah, Chuck's enthusiasm should be more highly respected in the NBA, although sometimes it gets out of hand like when he says "OH NOOO" when the other team gets a clutch shot in the game.

    Chuck Swirsky is hands down the best in da NBA cause hes adds excitment to the game and sometimes the guys jokes i.e. when he commented about his airtime during the nuggets game

    It's because you guys are in toronto and are raptors fan jeeez... u guys never heard any other commentaries thats why u guys are sayin Chuck Swirsky is the "best" and he's not even that great compared to many other commentaries ppl

    I guarentee that if you ask around, most people will say that their team commentator is the best in the league. Since you posted this in the Raptors forum, one can assume that most of you will say that Chuck Swirsky is the best.

    Very true Dex, but the ones in Sea-town really are the best :mrgreen: .

    However there are always those few fools who will say that Tom Tolbert and Bill Walton are the best.

    I like Chuck because he's energetic unlike those Boston or Detroit commentators. I also like Marv Albert and Bill Walton isn't bad.

    Marv Albert and Mike Fratello are tops in the NBA.

    The NBA needs to see if they can put Steve Javie and Bill Walton together like it was in the NBC days. They are a great team.

    I disagree about CHUCK. Chuck drives me crazy! If I have to hear about someone being posterized again, it'll be to soon. He's energetic yes, but annoying too! I'm not saying he's as bad as Bill Walton (who is to busy trying to sell himself as a genius), but I do like Leo. He knows the game, and tells it the way it is. Rod Black is the worst play by play man in Canada!

    I dont see much basketball anymore..and hardly pay attention to the commentators...but Chuck is a pretty good one. During the times i tried to listen, Alot are hella boring...
