He was putting up good numbers when he had some minutes. Utah are working out with Slarko Varnes right now, who NY just waived, so he'll probably be signed and/or Ruffin will be activated.

He sustained an injury at that point, and I don't think he got another one in that game.
This is quite a significant loss. Ben was very efficient. He was developing into a pretty good player and was great on the boards. With Tag out right now and Ben out for the season, our already depleted Big Man situation, just got worse

Our only healthy big men right now are AK47 and Jarron Collins .
This sucks. He had proved he can ball in this L, and was starting to settle into his role for the team, and now this! Damn.
Well it turns out the Jazz did not sign Varnes. They felt he was too raw to contribute at this point. Look for them to make a move to add a big man to their team. Deals and aquisitions could start happening tomorrow.

At this stage I'd say a quick fix trade that will help in the short term but not long term is unlikely as Utah are rebuilding right now.
