What do people think about the rookie class this year?Aside from LeBron and Carmelo What about Josh Howard, Raul Lopez, TJ Ford, Chris Bosh, Jarvis Hayes, Kieth Bogans, Kirk Hinrich, Ndubi Ebi will be great with time. If people stopped being simple minded and didnt focus on LeBron and Carmelo they might not believe there eyes

I like this draft class, the best in a while...Hayes is going to be a reel nice player, Howard is a hustler, he goes after everyting, Hinrich plays some nice D also

There are to many to remeber another sign that the draft is much like the one in 96/97. Even David West is showin potential

i think 99 was also a pretty good draft class, with the likes of:

    elton brand
    steve francis
    baron davis
    lamar odom
    rip hamilton
    andre miller
    wally szczerbiak
    shawn marion
    corey maggette
    ron artest
    andrei kirilenko

    and the list goes on....

Aside from LeBron and Carmelo, though, I don't necessarily see any "team leader" types of players. A lot of these players would make nice compliementary players but Bosh and Wade are the only other ones where I potentially see any sort of leadership role within a team.

Lopez is a rookie, but he wasn't drafted this year.

    He was drafted in 2001.

    The 1999 draft was great!
    Ok, no real superstar?
But all those guys you name at that list is great players! All of them count much for their teams, and many of the teams these players plays for would be like Cavaliers and Nuggets was last season if it wasn't for those player! The closest we get a superstar there is Baron Davis, and he's a superstar if you ask me so, the 1999 draft got at least one superstar![IMG]
