How does Dungy's complaining about the refs suggest that he misses the Tampa Defense? Oh wait, I get it.. You're upset because he's insulting the same refs who made it possible for the Patriots to get a win against the Raiders to go the Superbowl! Yeah, that must be it.

So you are one of the people that thinks 15 wins in a row was because of luck and refs....good to see you show intelligence!

Dungy was bitter that his worthless defense couldn't get the job done so he and Mike martz abused their stature on the competition commitee this offseason...where were the complaints when he was in Tampa?

Yeah the NFL leprechauns and refs thought it would be cool if a team won fifteen in a row. Sorry Pats37, your team is not that good...LOL

You can't win, you complain. People need to face the facts that New England is a very well balanced and coached team and give them the proper respect they deserve. Winning 2 Super Bowls in 3 years is a damn good job!

The suggestion is that if the defensive holding and pass interference rules had been enforced as written, NE would not have been anywhere near the Super Bowl, and its likely right....no one spends more time or effort raping WR's up and down the field, except maybe the Dolphins....expect those teams to suffer most from the rule enforcement, while the Colts and Rams will benefit the most....

I'm changing my quote back cus the hating is already starting....I'm sorry beef/BF1 but that's a joke he through 4 INT's and law was in Zone on at least two of them and it wasn't even the receiver he was covering....shit I didn't even see a receiver in the area on two of his never mind the fumble caused by Rodney when he blew up Marvin and when Rodney just straight took the ball (cleanly) from pollard on a terribly thrown ball by GOD HIMSELF MANNING. but ya we held and Manning should have a ring.....please. It all comes down to having receivers with no balls....our receivers were just tougher PERIOD...we are not the only team to touch a receiver after five yards I bet almost every play last season for every team you could find someone on the field touching a receiver past five yards....it's just losers being crybabys...I didn't hear the Panthers complain we held?? Why....cause their receivers got toughness and heart.

Also watch the tape our pressure not holding won that game...the game plan was to make Manning throw off balance and we did and on every pick he was throwing off his back foot or on the move when throwing which is by far his biggest weakness....I'd like to think the 3 sacks jarvis green and contless pressures had a little do with our defense playing so well.

Good points, however if two of three recievers gets raped and Manning tries to force it in zone and throws a pick to corner that didnt break rules himself doesnt mean that the holding didnt affect the play. Second pressure is great but if you werent holding his recievers get open quicker and you get less pressure cuz he gets rid of ball sooner.

I hear BF1 but noone wants to admit that manning could have made a mistake thats what gets me....and also the pick law made when he came off harrison and made that one handed diving catch was just Manning getting fooled straight up...he thought he saw man but it really was zone...that's one I know for sure.

The bottomline though is that the Patriots hold, impede, and generally try to intimidate WR's through tactics that are against the rules...they admit it themselves, why cant you guys....the Dolphins do it too, im not blind to it....if they call the game like they say they will this year, I expect the Patriots defense(and the Dolphins) to take a step backwards....all bump and run teams will....

I never said we didn't hold I'm just saying every team did and does which is eveident by teams other than us getting penalized out of the stadium in preseason.

Also, I just don't agree that is the sole reason we win.

I am saying the gap between the patriots and colts game was less than the effect of the penalty not being called.

you all have the right idea, but are forgettin i felt the same way as colts fans did. we all know if Todd Pinkston wasnt raped by a man 5 inches shorter, the eagles would have won that game. now i know marvin harrison, reggie wayne, pollard and the other WRs of Indy were held, i saw it, but it wasnt as bad as pinky. i think the whole playoffs there was mugging going on, (dallas-carolina was bad also)and thats the only reason the league came out and wants it changed this year.

if theese rules were inforced last year, it would be a Indy-Philly SB, i rreally believe it

Dawk is right on....the Oracle has spoken...I will go on record right now and state that if they call the penalties they say they are gonna call, the Patriots will be no better than 10-6, and will get thier butts handed to them opening night...im talking major blowout, like 45-10....

Marvin Harrison is an elite WR, so I thought. He should be able to get away from Ty Law.

Peyton is the best QB and should be able to thread a needle in order to get his man the ball. If Dungy saw the rape committed by DBs, he shouold have ran the ball with Edge instead of passing it. ITs Dungy's and Peytons fault they lost, how many passes did Peyton throw to Ty Law?

According to Beef this rule enforcement some how hurts our offense as well? Come on now, 10 points against Indys D. You can make a better prediction than that. And Bearsfan still complaining about the Pats, I know you're jealous and all but maybe someday you can stop making excuses.
