Too bad for me... I was being born that season.

As for me, I have always been a major Spurs fan. And I liked the 2002-2003 team most. The addition of Ginobili and Parker really sparked their game.

Personally, I'm a bad boys fan. I was too young (and in Russia) at the time, but now that I'm in Detroit, they became my all time favorite NBA team, unless the current one wins the championship in a year or two, with Darko leading the way.

    Anyways, the Bad Boys:
    Isaiah Thomas
    Joe Dumars
    Dennis Rodman
    John "Spider" Salley
    Vinnie "Microwave" Johnson
    Bill Laimbeer
    Rick Mahorn
    Mark Aguirre
    James Edwards

    Same here.

But my favorite series was the '98 series between the Bulls and the Jazz. The Bulls held the Jazz to 54 points in a finals game. Combine that with the fact that every Bulls player suited up, scored that game. Watching Scottie, Michael, and Ron's reaction to the Dicky Simpkins dunk(and the great commentary by Isiah Thomas) made me laugh....

"Oh my. Dicky."- Isiah said that in reference to what MJ was 'supposedly' saying.....was funny.

Add to that the Scottie Pippen back problems in game 6, from drawing all those charges in game 5, made that victory even sweeter. Pippen gave it his all, and you could tell he was laboring to get up and down the court.

MJ stol the ball, came down and hit the shot. But Harper preserved the win by getting a piece of thge ball on Stockton's last second shot.

That made the series great. And since you knew it was 'The End' for the Bulls reign, it made it that much sweeter, to go out on top.

    89-90 Detroit Pistons, NBA Champs

The bad boys, led by Isiah Thomas, beat MJ and the Bulls to go to the NBA Finals, where they defeated Portland.

    The Starting Five:
    Thomas
    Joe D.
    James Edwards
    Dennis Rodman
    Bill Laimbeer

Its too bad that MJ retired. I would have loved to see Houston go against the Bulls(with MJ). That would have been one helluva finals.

1966-'67 Philadelphia 76ers. Greatest team ever (to me). It helps that they have my favorite player of all-time on the team.

The Lakers of Magic Johnson and the Celtics of Larry Bird. This is due to the fact they provided the best of the best in entertainment rivalry. It lasted for years and was not only fun to watch but also extremely honest. Pure hoops.

I have to like this years Timberwolves team, it's the best we ever had. Cassell, Sprewell, Garnett, Szczerbiak, Hudson, and Olowokandi are great, but we have other very good role players that a lot of people forget to recognize. Like Trenton Hassell, he is like our Bruce Bowen, he a lot of times guards the other teams best backcourt player. And there is Gary Trent, he may be undersized, but he is powerful, and he can get some tough rebounds. Speaking of tough rebounds, you have to mention Mark Madsen, this guy flat out hustles in everything he does on the court. He was our leader in offensive rebounds before he got injured. And Fred Hoiberg, he can shoot the lights out when he is on, and he also has very good hands on defense.

Can't agree more. That was a great era for the basketball, they changed the game.
