Melo's numbers are not all star worthy in the west, sorry. I think Andre and Camby deserve some pub for their play this season. But back to the rookie game, Butler won't make it unless the league has a change of heart of we have some injuries take place. What type of injuries did this guy actually have? Anybody?

based on the performance this season: on the soph lineup I'd say these guys are most deserving: c- Nene Hilario pf- Amare Stoudemire sf- Drew Gooden sg- Mike Dunleavy pg- Flip Murray Juanny, Butler are out because they've been riddled with injury and greatly affect their performance this season, Jay Williams is in rehab, while Yao seems to make his second consecutive All Star team on the rookie lineup: c- Chris Kaman pf- Chris Bosh sf- Carmelo Anthony (If he makes AS team, it'd be Josh Howard, followed closely by Jarvis Hayes) sg- Dwyane Wade pg- LeBron James (If he makes AS team, it'd be Hinrich) I really love the rookie team... if this is really the lineup I'm gonna buy the recorded video!!!!

Anybody?</div> he had arthroscophic surgery on his knee, that's no joke. banged it during practice and apparently that same knee has been injured before (remember there were even rumors that he had been shot in the knee, and that made him slide down in the draft). and yeah, sadly he won't make it to the rookie game. no wade vs. butler.
Wow...you all you kids forgot one player that should start fo' the sophmores, Mehmet Okur! This guy is wonderful and is a guaranteed furture all-star in my books. The other night he had 27 points and 14 boards. There should be 2 starting Pistons at fo' the Sophmore game, Tayshaun Prince and Memo Okur.

Still, I wouldn't start him, not over Boozer. I would definitely make him my backup center, and slide Nene over to backup 4. No But... Wade, LeBron, and Howard all play guards.. So even though hes not better... He does not play in their postion, even though he could very well, hence his Kentucky days.. So in that case, No hes not better than Carmelo or Jarvis, but he could always be on the bench.. Mind you he hasnt been starting from day one, so his stats might not show it, But the kid can play... And I don't think "Stupid Magic Fans" is a term to be calling someone..

Well the other posters who have done the bench have put 12 players on the team. I think Bogans is having a good enough season to be a top 12 rookie. You can't just look at this WHOLE year's stats when you look at Bogans. Look at his past couple of months. I mean if you put Barbosa there, it can't include the whole season. Bogans does deserve to be on the team. On the other hand, Giricek defeinetely doesn't. You need to find someone to replace Giricek, because he's having a horrible season. We're lucky Bogans is playing so good that he fills Giricek's spot from last year. Wtf are you thinking about calling Magic fans stupid? If you looked at what Bogans has been doing for the Magic the last month, you would understand why we think he should be in there. Bogans just does so much more for the team than his stats indicate with his hustle. He's been one of our top players(I know it doesn't say much since we're 11-32, but he's having a great season).
I no for a fact there isnt 12 on the team and for the last time Bogans wont be on the team. Just because your pissed off that the Magic suck and they drafted a bust in the first you think Bogans is so good.
Maybe if you actually watched the Magic play you would know where we're coming from. He IS good. Anyone can tell you that if they've watched a game that he's played in. He's like 6'4, and he gets loads of boards. He seems like he's in the right place at the right time everytime. Don't be hating on Bogans. I don't know how many players it is, but starman and KJ both made their rosters on 12 players, so that's what I'm going by.
