<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">In November, Ratliff had just one double-digit scoring game and averaged 6.4 points.

Ratliff picked up his scoring in the month of December, averaging 9.2 points and shooting 52.8 percent from the field in 15 games. Ratliff has scored in double digits in seven of the past 12 games and posted two double-doubles.

Where did the December offense come from?

"I'm trying to find a way to win games with our style of play. If we're trying to outscore people, I guess I need to become more of a scorer," Ratliff said with a laugh.

Ratliff, the NBA's leader with 102 blocks, was kidding, slightly. He revealed this week that he played most of the season with a broken left middle finger. Ratliff said he fractured the tip of the finger on his non-shooting hand on Nov. 12 in Phoenix. The injury occurred near the end of the first half after he got the finger caught in Suns forward Amare Stoudamire's jersey. </div>

Finally, someone who's not a damn ***** other than Iverson. A broken finger isn't that bad, I know for a fact.

And it's good to see him playing better. If you never watched the games, it'd seem like he was getting blocked just as often as he was doing it.
