<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">"To me, losing Chris Webber is like Minnesota not having Kevin Garnett and San Antonio not having Duncan," Adelman said. "I think people take it for granted that we can win without Webber. I don't take it for granted. We know we're a better team with Chris."

Adelman paused and considered the idea of the Kings being better without Webber.

"That's just ridiculous," he said. "How people can say that makes no sense. Minnesota isn't going anywhere without Garnett, and San Antonio isn't going anywhere without Duncan. It's amusing to think that. That's a pretty big hole to fill."</div>

Adelman is using Psychology. If the Kings didn't need Webber to win a ring they would have done it last year.

Man, he hit the nail right on the head. Webber provides a great post presence on both ends of the floor, and his long jumpers can spread the defense, as well. And we all know he lead his team in assists last season (5.7 I think).

And yes, Minnesota without Garnett would not be anywhere as good. Same with the Spurs and no Duncan. It seems a lot of Western teams rely on the Forward positions (Brand, Carmelo, Duncan, Garnett, Malone, Lewis, Dirk, and Gasol, to name a few).
