Paul Pierce

i have been trying to get paul pierce from my friend for awhile now, the trade i offered him was jason terry,ray allen, and donyell marshall and he said no. also on my team i have starbury, marion, duncan, ben wallace, vince, and tmac. who do you think i should give him that would be fair for pierce

 

Do you guys play for money? Because if you do I'd love to join your league.

 

Same deal but replace Ray Allen with Starbury. Although most would say that Starbury is much better than Ray Allen, Marbury doesn't bring his game every night.

Statistically, youd bet better off with Paul Pierce, even if you lose Marbury.

Personally, I wouldn't make this deal. Pierce is not playing great this year, and Allen has already been playing pretty well since coming off the injured list. Allen will probably be a better fantasy player this year than pierce, and donyell marshall has also been playing great since the trade. If you really want Pierce why not try offering Terry and Vince/Tmac, since none of them are really playing well (although I still think ur better off keeping ur players).

Pierce not playing well? He is putting up 24, 7, and 6! He should be one of the top three MVP candidates if it weren't for his team's record. You are right about not trading Ray Allen, but why would you suggest that he trade Terry and Vince/Tmac for Pierce?

These types of leagues are about getting consistant players. Which is why you should unload Starbury. If your friend is somewhat dumb, he'll be excited to get Marbury because of his name.

 

yea i think ill hold onto allen for now and see what he does. i may consider trading starbury but with all the asissts he gets it might be hard to.
