    This isn't the worst but it's pretty bad.Earl Boykins never even got drafted because he was too short.And Nikoloz Tskitishvili,he was drafted with the 5th pick by denver.He was chosen before Amare Stoudemire.

    Biggest pass ups I can think of right offhand that weren't even drafted would be Brad Miller and Ben Wallace. Both have turned out to be fantastic players in their own rights. Currently, a bad looking lottery pick was Jay Williams. But, you never know what he could have been this year if he wouldn't have had that horrendous motorcycle accident. One that also started off good but has slightly died away is Vince Carter. He's still a great player but his health problems has really plagued him the last couple years or so. Jamaal Tinsley has been a good back up point guard and he dropped all the way to the 28th pick, and, actually, it kinda surprised me cause I thought that he'd have been higher that year. Another ISU boy, Marcus Fizer, who went 4th, maybe 5th, to Chicago the year before has been pretty good, but not what I expected from him. I think these are really all I can think of currently.

    Well the undrafted players who are currently in the NBA are the ones who were overlooked the most. Bruce Bowen, Troy Hudson, Chucky Atkins, Earl Boykins, Kevin Ollie, Darrell Armstrong, Ben Wallace, David Wesley, and Aaron Williams were all undrafted. (I'm sure theres more)

    As for passing up players such as McGrady or Jermaine O'Neal, it wasn't necessary looked at as a bad thing until years after developement. No one knew that these high schoolers would have this much success. Several years back, players went to college and then jumped into the league. Picking them back then could have been looked at as a gamble, only because of their age and inexperience. Nowadays, high schoolers are entering the league at a rapid pace.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting starman85:</div><div class="quote_post">

    Daniels - came out of a very weak draft class, and was considered the second best point guard after Billups(who was picked 3rd), and the Grizz needed a point guard after drafting big men with their 2 previous lotto picks

    </div>

    Daniels' class wasn't a very weak one, you have superstars in Tim Duncan at #1 and of course T-Mac at no 9. Tim Thomas (7th) isn't a very bad player although he may be one of the worst maxed-contract players. Derek Anderson (13th) is also a gem. Let's also not forget Keith Van Horn (2nd pick) who is fitting himself nicely in the Bucks' offense. Then you have Bobby Jackson and Alvin Williams too.

    I think the weaker class than that would be the 2000 class when Mike Miller (5th) won the ROY... had he been healthy that season, Kenyon Martin (1st) would win it easily. The rest, including the likes of Swift (2nd), Miles (3rd), Fizer (4th) have talent but they never really live up to the expectations and turn that into skills, which is disappointing.

    Duncan and McGrady aside, that is a very, very weak class. Look at all the surrounding drafts, and the 3rd best player (and others) will be better than Keith Van Horn.

    As you say, 2000 was very weak, but had some nice late 1st rounders and 2nd rounders, IIRC.
