Yesterday Lamond Murray asked coach O'neil if he could be traded as soon as possible. He doesn't want another season to go down the drain. Today he is going to ask GM Glen Grunwald to be traded. Murray wants to go to a place that they can use him, not just sitting on the bench. Murray has $10 million for 2 years still left on his concract. Murray has played in 17 games getting 8.6ppg, 3.4rpg, 1.2apg. He hasn't played since Dec 3, which he played 1 minute. Ever since the Chicago trade he hasn't played much.
He has an option i think after this season. Maybe if we dont get any good offers we can sit him the rest of the year and hope he options out.
"I'm ready to go. I didn't do all the stuff (I did) to come here and sit on the f---ing bench behind all these guys for no particular reason." said Murray "So I've got to go somewhere else so I can play."
When I heard we got Lamond I was happy, but now since theres no room for him, we should trade him. I don't know why, but he seems suprised that hes on the bench, when all season hes been nothing but garbage.
I don't know man, I think if he was given another chance after the chicago trade, he would of done alot better. Mo-pete is doing good right now, but i think Murray would of done the same if not better if he got the minutes that Mo is getting now. However, that doesn't mean i want him to get minutes now. Also, during that span where they lost 6 out of 7, they should of tried giving him some minutes to see if he can change things around. Same thing goes to Moiso. But now that Murray has said negative comments, he should be sent away and to hell.
I say make a package deal, and bring in a good center. A center that can start for us, and have Bosh come in off the bench, but still play 30 minutes per game. I like Theo Ratliff, Calvin Booth, Brendan Haywood, Zdrunas Ilgauskas, kurt Thomas, Tony Battie, Stromile Swift, Lorenzen Wright... We need a good center, that could share time with Bosh, but is able to start as center.
