What the Magic need right now is consistency and Johnny needs to get to know the players and how they operate. Once the Magic acquire some talent in the paint, they need to have a quiet off-season and contemplate the year ahead. Good move by the Magic.
Im in agreement. A team cannot change coaches every year. It is unhealthy for the organization as well as the players. People need consistancy in their lives. I think this is the smart choice by letting Davis keep his job. I think we should give him a few years to see if he can work his magic on the team.
I still find this stupid .. How can he has all the solutions that Doc didn't have, while he was sitting next to him !!
Doc was an amazing coach, he was understanding and made sure to use the team to full effectiveness, it was a bad year is all....
I say this is good for the Magic. They've been starting to gel and come together for once. If they were to get a new coach next season that would of messed the whole gel thing up IMO.

Besides, Davis seems like a good guy and a great coach for the players to be around.
