I heard that on the radio on the way home from the draft. Sounds like he'll be sitting out a year....so I have to wonder if it will really happen.

    Jeeeeez.

I still think that he would have to sit out the year (came up in other posts), so why worry now. Sue or attach his ass for the bonus money already paid, and hope for the best. The biggest problem you might see out of this is if the Dolphins decide to plan for him next year, "you know who" has a built in free ride for this season of turmoil. He?ll still be coach next season no matter what.

they are talkign about appealing to the league to get the suspension reduced, but after he claimed to be an active user of pot while with the Dolphins, and covering it up with a maskign agent, why would the nfl help him....

    Yeah, whatever.

We all know Wanny will don the knee pads and give Ricky whatever he wants if he returns to Mihammy.

Speaking of Wanny, maybe someone needs to go shave off his 8 lb. mustache. (is that thing real?) Perhaps it would render him powerless like that story of Samson and the long hair.

Hey, look at all these other players failing their drug test. Getting fined and suspended for games. He was smart about. He still did cause a lot of hell with the team and shit. But i would let em play.

If it was all about the drug test, then why did he say that he was an active user of pot and he masked it?

I think he was wasted, he talked to Lenny Cravitz, decided that he wanted to take a romp in Asia and 'expand his mind'.

On a side note, does a cop have just cause to perform a search of William's car? What an idiot.

Is it possible that the league is not enforcing the policy equally to all players? I can think of one guy, CB Dale Carter, who failed 1-2 tests, got a year off, then came back. Someone ratted him out for drinking (1) beer at a restaurant and he was suspended indefinitely. He has since rejoined the league, but it seemed like they really came down hard on him. It's now know that Ricky has failed how many drug tests and hasn't faced a suspension until now....now that they general public knows about it.

This post could very easily be entitled Its all about the benjamins.

Miami & rightfully so was going to after the 8 million in incentives that puffy was paid. Of course, RW said something about how embarassing it was to come after a man w/ 3 kids & would file a grievance.

I recently read that this case was going to arbitration. Bottom line; Ricky knew that the Dolphins would win most of the $ (if not all).

Personally, I don't ever want to see him play for the phins again. Don't reward him & trade his rights to Oakland where he wants to go!!

But where? Couldn't the Cardinals use a quality RB?

I wouldn't want him, I don't think the Dolphins or any team in the East should want him.
