Wade sprained his wrist Dec. 26 and played the last two games before an MRI test on Friday revealed the bruise.

Wade has been one of the NBA's top rookies this season, averaging 16.2 points and 4.4 assists.

Wade will wear a cast for a week, then the injury will be re-evaluated.

I can't say that i'm surprised, I just hope that Wade doesn't turn into a Caron Butler with this injury. This is really going to give the Heat a chance to show they can win even without their star player and is going to allow Rafer Alston (Skip) to prove himself just like he did last night.

It's a lot of fun watching Skip play in person and I really hope that last night against the Magic wasn't a fluke.

Man, the Heat have a hand full of players who are prone to injury. Eddie Jones, Lamar Odom, Caron Butler (I know this is only his first time, but he seems to be recovering so slowly), and now Wade. Hopefully, he's recover quickly from this. It's only a bruise, I mean how bad can it be?
