im in an 8 man yahoo rotisserie league and im having some trouble in some departments... My Team: PG Cassell, Sam (PG-Min) SG Iverson, Allen (SG-Phi) G Arenas, Gilbert (PG-Was) SF Kirilenko, Andrei (SF, PF-Uta) PF Martin, Kenyon (PF-NJ) F Marshall, Donyell (F, SF-Tor) C O'Neal, Jermaine (FC, PF-Ind) C Wallace, Ben (FC, PF-Det) Util Anthony, Carmelo (SF-Den) Util Brown, P.J. (PF-NO) Bench Hughes, Larry (PG, SG-Was) Bench Miller, Mike (GF-Mem) Bench Stoudamire, Damon (PG-Por) Bench Radmanovic, Vladimir (PF-Sea) ive basically got rebounds, blocks, steals in the bag but i need help with percentages for FG, FT, and 3Pts if anybody can offer some insight it would be appreciated
id trade Iverson for another big time scorer. I'm sure someone would take him. His FG % surely would hurt you.
i'd trade Iverson for Ray Allen, and Pj Brown + Mike Miller + Stoudamire for Michael Redd, and pick up Jiri Welsch and Leandro Barbosa
ok i haven't made any trades and my team is struggling i need help with every percentage (FG, FT, 3P), assists and 3 points made do u think ill be able to get a top end SG for iverson straight up 1 for 1 i have an excess of forwards any guards for recommendations? appreciate it
^ Sure you can. Offer it to someone who needs assists badly. I have Iverson because my big guys can neutralize his bad shooting percentage. You can try to get Paul Pierce.
im considering to get some people from this one guy, he has francis, marion,allen,odom...im trying to trade iverson... do u have think larry hughes+iverson+another guy for francis, marion would work?
francis is just a big name w/o the fantasy numbers to back it up. i won't trade for him. Marion and Ray Allen are the much better fantasy players. I'd try to pull something off for those two guys.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting drunkenelmo87:</div><div class="quote_post">whos the best percentage shooter with all around numbers</div> i would have to go with Ray Allen. Not far behind: Michael Redd. As you can see, that's why I recommended you to aquire those players. Good luck.
i traded PJ brown, hughes, and carmelo for kurt thomas and allan houston...i made this move mainly for the percentages of both players...did i just shoot myself or was it a solid move?
... i think u just shot urself... Kurt Thomas is perhaps equal to PJ Brown... so it's basically Brown for Kurt and Melo + Hughes for Houston I don't think Houston is good enough to warrent Carmelo and Larry Hughes.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting drunkenelmo87:</div><div class="quote_post">i traded PJ brown, hughes, and carmelo for kurt thomas and allan houston...i made this move mainly for the percentages of both players...did i just shoot myself or was it a solid move?</div> Yup you just shot yourself. I wouldn't trade Brown coz of his solid contributions on the board. It's a good move that you let go of hughes but Melo's pretty decent. Shooter with a great percentage? Get Redd. He almost never turn the ball over.
i know i made a mistake with the numbers they have but houston has solid offensive statistics and with the wizards getting their starters back i thought hughes would basically become useless to me (i benched him mostly for his off and on performances)...after accepting this trade i tried to get it vetoed but it failed... my goal right now is to get percentage players because i am in last place for FG and FT... i need to build on this trade, tell me what u think (its prob not fair): Iverson, Reggie Miller, Damon Stoudamire for Redd and Nash
Go for it. You'll be getting everything you need in that trade. 3Pt, PG%, and FT%. Yeah, I think you'll be giving up a big time scorer, in Iverson, but it's worth it. Now, if i was that other person, I wouldn't accept such an offer. But who knows, give it a few tries. Maybe he'll eventually accept something. Anyways, you're on the right track now. Going after Ray Allen or Michael Redd will get you over the bump. [If I were you, I'd still offer Iverson for Ray Allen, straight up.]
Personally if you're getting amare, marbury, and wade, i would do the deal because artest isn't playing as good as he was, iverson is good, but you get good players back, claxton and thomas are irrelavent (i like claxton tho)..you should do the deal
do you guys forget peja?? you need 3pt? he puts up points in the form of 3pters and his shooting is that bad either.
youve got a really solid team...i think you just got to work on your bench. I wouldnt mess with anything too much, but hughes, miller, stoudamire and vlad rad arent too great a bench. if your percents are a problem id trade arenas asap. you are much stronger at the big positions however so you could also package one of those guys to strengthen your bench...im assuming this is daily changes. id try to get rid of hughes, miller and arenas. if you have an il spot, put hughes in it and check who youve got in the fa pool.
