<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Operations chief John Paxson has been looking for ways to bolster his team's offense, and one of those will be adding a wing player from the National Basketball Developmental League.

The top two candidates are Desmond Penigar and Ronald DuPree. Penigar, a 6-6, 245-pound forward, leads the NBDL in scoring with 21.6 points per game for the Asheville Altitude, coached by Joey Meyer. The 6-7, 209-pound DuPree is averaging 16.9 points for the Huntsville Flight. DuPree starred at LSU, where he ranks eighth all-time in scoring and sixth in rebounds.

Other possibilities include Lavor Postell and Briton Johnsen.

I remember Dupree at LSU. He was a good player. Briton Johnsen I am not too sure about. And personally, I LOVE Lavor Postell. But that is for personal reasons and not basketball. So I would love to see Postell and DuPree signed. I don't know much about Penigar either.

Linton Johnson possibly leaving? Why him? Why not Jeffries? Linton Johnson is a high energy player and is a very hard worker.

Who can't shoot. Johnson has a one year deal. Jeffries is signed for 3 more. Releasing a player means he still counts towards your salary cap. We may as well see if Jeffries turns into the perimeter defender we need.
