I read an article that says supposedly Isiah Thomas put an offer in for Sheed, i will post the article once i find it. KVH is included in the deal. The Article is not loading, the site might be down but here is the clip i got in my email: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">According to the WFAN 660 radio station in NY, Isaiah Thomas has offered Keith Van Horn, Frank Williams, and Michael Doleac in exchange for Rasheed Wallace.</div> Would you do it?
No, he shouldn't do it. Frank William's offensive skills have been showing lately. Doleac..... I would trade him, besides it wouldn't be a good trade already. I mean, they lost Milos Vujic, 2 first rounders and Macjei Lampe who could've been a good player.
I'd do it if given the chance. Now that the Knicks got Starbury, they would not need to keep Frank Williams with Moochie likely to get the backup PG spot. KVH will be expandable in the offense now that it will likely be Houston and Marbury to be the focus of the offense, so why not trade for one of the best power forwards in the game? I would.
Yes, I'd definitely do it if I was Isaiah. Marbury will be playin 40+ minutes anyway, and Wallace>KVH...to me, this seems like a no-brainer, even for Portland...
I'd make the move, definitely. You're looking at continued matchup problems for other teams, because Sheed would slide in at the 3 spot. They'd rebound better, and be more consistent. I agree with the assessment that with Marbury, you don't need to develope Frank Williams anymore. Doleac is a guy New York has tried to hang onto in the past because of his hard work and hustle, and because he plays smart. But if you can get Sheed for him, throw in the deal. I have a feeling that the deal is more contingent on him than either KVH or Williams, from Portland's pov.
I'd definately do it. Rasheed might just be the last piece the Knicks need to win the Championship. Tell me this isn't a beast lineup... PG- Marbury (can score 25 any night) SG- Houston (gets 20 any night, and also one of the elite shooters in the league) SF- Rasheed (will play SF, can open up the scoring. Can drop 25 any given night) PF- Kurt Thomas (Bigger than Rasheed, therefore getting the nod at PF. Good on the boards) C- Mutombo (Known for his defensive presence.) bench... Sweetney Penny can't think of any others worth mentioning...

...and Moochie. You have to make that deal if you're the Knicks. Williams was the future in NY, but how quickly things change. His talent is completely wasted playing 8-12 minutes off the bench, I'd do that deal in a heartbeat.

In fact, I don't even believe you. YOU would make that trade. LOL.

KVH-harrington-sweetney and williams for wallace and patterson sounds good to me and dont give me that"were loosing our future" honestly, when did the knicks ever build for the future? its always been right here right now the only exeption is ewing and after him he never rebuilt and stayed the best team in the leauge in the 90's and president thomas is trying to duplicate that with acquireing marbury and hopfully wallace. -edit- my apologies, i mentioned the conditional pick was top 15 protected, its actually top 25 protected <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Post has obtained the fine details of the heavily protected future first-round pick the Knicks have given Phoenix. The Suns can't touch it until 2006. The Knicks keep it if they are 25th or better in the draft order. In 2007, they keep it if they are 24th or better. In 2008, they keep it if they are 23rd or better. The kicker is if the Knicks still have it by 2010, it goes to Phoenix, unprotected. </div>http://www.nypost.com/sports/knicks/44663.htm
Thomas is making a big mistake, he'd get the boards and bring offense but his attitude isn't worth it. He's making a very stupid decision. I think he should go after the likes of tough huslters like Malik Rose.

Rasheed could be on his way to Dallas: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Knicks' new boss was attempting to make Rasheed Wallace a Knick, but talks with Portland broke down yesterday and the Blazers' bad-boy power forward appeared headed to Dallas as part of a package for Antawn Jamison, sources said.</div> Source: NY Post.

Zeke traded for Steph because he wanted to build for the present. Otherwise he never would have traded two first round picks.
