Kobe? Sure he may not be a good public figure (Because of the rape accusations), but he is one of the greatest players in my mind! Who can create a shot for himself like he does? Who has the record for youngest ever on the All-Defensive first team?(KOBE does!) Who is the youngest all-star, threepeater, etc., etc....The list goes on and on! Kobe should be on that list! Also I disagree with Shaq being that high on the list... Kobe for sure!
I actually have this issue, and I am pretty sure that it was the 75 greatest. Why didn't you post the last 25?
Nice to see Wilkins get respect, him not being on the NBA's official 50 greatest list is a true joke.

He doesn't belong above the like of KG, The Worm, Kobe, Etc. Besides, since when do guys that make their coaches quit belong on the list hgiher than other players who deserve the higher spots? I think it is an overall good list though. C-Webb above KG? Also not true. Just wait like 20 years when they come out with this list again. Kobe will be higher as well as KG, AI, and Reggie. Also, T-Mac below Grant Hill? Grant Hill missed like half of his career because of his dumb ankle. Grant "Emergency Room" Hill...HAHA saw it somewhere else on this site and thought it was hilarious! I also don't believe Duncan should be that high. Only one ring. Kobe? THREE count them! and Kobe is just better...END of STORY! ~out Edit: Mispelled Word

And I agree with the list..Grant Hill in his prime years was a better all around player than T-Mac is now.
duncan has to be a lot higher -definitely top 50 and should be top 25 once his career is over. no way pippen is on top of clyde drexler. i wouldn't rate shaq that high. one beef i have with shaq is that he really hasn't had competition at his position. he was too young when hakeem, ewing, sabonis, robinson, etc were in their primes and he's getting old and injure-prone to bang with yao or whoever comes next - which may not be anyone else, since the back-to-the-basket, brute-force center is an endangered species right now. not his fault, but i believe that if shaq had been playing five or seven years earlier, he wouldn't dominate hakeem as he does nesterovic or ylgauskas.

C'mon now, first of all Duncan won 2 rings, second of all, rings aren't everything. In your posts it sounds like you have to win a ring to be put as a great player. "Kobe is just better?" That's funny how you say the only thing about Iverson is his scoring titles. If that's the only thing you have to say for AI something is wrong, IMO he has the heart to win more than anybody in this league, and a lot would agree, and don't forget led his team to the NBA Finals with nothing a lot more than they have now with the exception of Mutombo, and a few others. Iverson took the game to another level being a SG and only being 5'11-6'0, so he deserves to be where he is. I pretty much agree with this, good list. And I also feel the same as Black Widow, G Hill in his prime was a better all around player than T-Mac.
Payton does not deserve to be ahead of Pistol Pete. To me, he is one of the best All-Time, but everyone has their own opinions though.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cubanballer:</div><div class="quote_post">shaq is that he really hasn't had competition at his position. he was too young when hakeem, ewing, sabonis, robinson, etc </div> LMAO Shaq's first 3 years in the league he had every center in his prime. Ewing Olajuwon Robinson Mutombo Daugherty Smits Shaq killed them on many occasions, even in All-Star games where he had to face them all. Those Magic-Knicks battles were awesome and emotion filled. Though Shaq's Magic were swept in the Finals by Olajuwon's Rockets, his numbers were great. Shaq is a top player of all time, like it or not.
Why is T-Mac there?? and why is Chris Webber on top of KG? PrimeTime you make it sound like Kobe is better then MJ.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cubanballer:</div><div class="quote_post"> no way pippen is on top of clyde drexler. </div> Oh really? Care to explain why?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">Oh really? Care to explain why?</div> He should not have to, I agree.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">Oh really? Care to explain why?</div> I personally think Pippen belongs over Clyde. Offensively,Clyde has the slight edge but defensively there is no contest whatsoever. I mean come on,Scottie used to defensively give Jordan all he could handle..IMO Scottie is a better all-around player than Clyde.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting ObieCent:</div><div class="quote_post">Oh really? Care to explain why?</div> no problem. just a few stats: Scottie Pippen: 16 seasons, 18,804 points, 6085 assists, 7426 rebounds (per game averages of 16.2 points, 5.2 assists, 6.4 rebounds), 7-time All Star (one MVP) 20 triple doubles, etc Clyde Drexler: 15 seasons (one less) 22,195 points, 6125 assists, 6677 rebounds (per game averages of 20.4 points, 5.6 assists, 6.1 rebounds) 9-time All Star, 24 triple doubles, including one that was one assist shy of a quadruple double, etc Stats wise, Pippen is only better in rebounds and marginally. But Clyde was better all around. Now, stats only tell part of the story. There's a huge subjective component in comparing player vs. player, and in my opinion, having seen them both in their prime, Clyde was just a much better player, more rounded and way more exciting to watch. But hey, it's just my opinion.
