<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cubanballer:</div><div class="quote_post">what, got a problem if it its? you think a homophobic joke makes me back down? how old are you, 13?</div> This thread is bringing tears of laughter to my eyes. Let's move on guys. I'll be needing a new avatar soon KJ, just haven't decided on one yet. Maybe something like James and Boozer back to back with the Cavs logo. I'll let you know soon though!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting InNETSweTrust:</div><div class="quote_post">What are you talking about? MJ scored 32,292 in 1,072 while Wilt scored 31,419 in 1,045. Both have 30.1 career scoring average but let's not forget that MJ would have a better average if he didn't come back. Besides, stats aren't everything. Stilt played against basically small guys. If there were big guys, only a few would be there to give him a great challenge. MJ played against the quickest PGs, the biggest Cs, the nastiest PFs and the sharpest shooters.</div> Yeah they both have the same svcoring average. But Chamberlain has almost every scoring record (four highest scoring seasons, ...) and Jordan just a few. So Wilt was a more dominating scorer than Jordan. And that is not an opinion but a fact. Your argument about smaller players, and quicker guards and pg,... is really rubish.Ever heard of Russell, Hallbrook (he was taller than Wilt), Oscar Robertson, Elgin Baylor, and so one. And big doesn't mean that you are good. I know a lot of really tall players who really are bad bballers. Check out the center of the mavericks Bradley. And Jordan was a scorer. Chamberlain is not only the best scorer ever, o no he is the best rebounder ever allso. And he has almost every rebounding record. Best scorer + best rebounder ever= best player ever. And don't forget that The Big Dipper was the only center ever to lead the league in assists!!! Jordan is a guard and he never did that. And if I'm not mistaking in Wilt his days there were a lot less teams than now. so the teams and players met each other al lot more. And if I'm not mistaking Russell is considered the best defensive center ever. Wilt did a lot of his magic against him. For example he grabbed 55 rebounds against him. I'm a big Jordan fan but he is no match for Wilt. It is not even close.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cubanballer:</div><div class="quote_post">"men is your thing" is not a homophobic joke? you are such a "man", how about backing up what you say?</div> I wasn't meaning it as any insult. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trail_Blazer76:</div><div class="quote_post">It's because like many people on this board, the makers of these lists overestimate the importance of rings. Which brings me to my next arguement as to why the hell Bob Pettit and John Havlicek are both before Moses Malone! We are talking about Moses here.... <div class="quote_poster">Quoting King James:</div><div class="quote_post">Moses was a true beast. Should be top 10 IMO.</div> But honestly, who would you remove from the top 10?

One thing I was very glad to see was Bill Walton's exclusion from the list. He didn't deserve to be anywhere near the NBA's list..He was a great player during his 2 - 3 season prime...but IMO longevity is a key component to making a Greatest type list.
malone is great but i agree, i couldn't take anyone out of the top 10. not o'neal and definitely not kareem (if the top scorer of all time isn't there, it's a travesti). it's just life. someone has to be 11.

Bill Walton is where he should be at 73. The fact that they rate KG at 70 makes it even more obvious they made a mistake with him. Not only should he be higher than Webber, he should also be ranked ahead of rodman, aguirre and sam jones.
