I have been having an ongoing debate with my brother over whether CB4 is gonna be a superstar in the NBA. Do you think he has what it takes? I think he has a good work ethic instilled in him already and he is very smart when he plays the game. I think in 3 years and 20 pounds later he could have a serious impact in the league....maybe allstar? what do you think?
He has all the talent other big guys have, he just lacks weight and size for a centre. Put him on power forword and add 20 pounds and if he can improve his shot he will turn into Kevin Garnett.

Its rather hard for someone to become the next KG, that would be quite the accomplishment. Give him a few more years before asking that type of question. He is only a rookie, but he does have a great amount of talent.
He has a great amount of talent but i see in playing in the mix of Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett like style.... but i don't think he would be as great as them
If he can work on his agreesion, jump-shot, and that right hand, he could very well be close to (although i doubt the NEXT) KG.
without a doubt he will be a star hell easily be able to put up 20 and 10 with a couple blocks a game within the next couple years. i hope the raps can hang on to him
Couple of inches added? ... Heh Bosh i think will be in the class of the great PFs, but not the all stars ones, kinda like shareef rasheed, great but not the best ones.
Bosh will be a perennial all-star, no doubt. He could be as good as KG, but I cringe when I hear that. Let's just let CB be CB, he's a different guy with a different personality. He'll make a name for himself soon enough, It's going to be a lot of fun watching him develop over the next couple of seasons. Stock up on all the Bosh collectibles, because his stock will be through the roof pretty soon. The only thing I hope for is to see him continue playing the five. I disagree with moving him to PF, I just don't understand why nobody wants to play C anymore. KG is an anomaly, but he too could easily play center. Tim Duncan is the best center in the league, but because of David Robinson, Tim was converted into a PF. It's great that these big guys are so much more agile and skilled these days with the ball, but I feel that their height and versatility are sometimes wasted. Why couldn't guys like Garnett, Bosh, Duncan, or Rasheed Wallace among others play center? Sure, Shaq is going to beat them up, but due to their height they're usually the ones who end up guarding him anyway. If these players were playing in the paint, we would be talking about the NBA's new golden age of centers. Instead, we have to watch a bunch of stiffs like Sean Bradley, Jake Voskuhl, and Joel Pryzbilla clog up the middle. The game could be much more exciting with more talent playing in the post.

Bosh, IMO, will be a 20-10 player within 5 years. That being said, his being recognized as a truly great player depends on the quality of the Raptors. By that time, only Carter will still be in prime condition among the Raptors' starters(besides Bosh, of course). So the Raptors will need another scorer alongside Carter and Bosh. If they get that, and the Raptors have success in the playoffs, I think he'll get Otis Thorpe-esque recognition, which was fairly good in his day. I think Kevin McHale is a more apt comparison than Kevin Garnett. The only reason McHale gets so much praise(besides the fact that he was all-star caliber) is because he was a Celtic and because he was Larry Bird's sidekick on three title teams. If he had averaged the same stats, or even 2 ppg more for his career but for a non-title contender like the Warriors, he wouldn't have been seen in the same light. The same goes for Bosh, and we'll judge him on not only his playing ability but the amount of winning he achieved.

McHale and Parish formed possibly the most imposing front court the NBA has ever seen. McHale's stats were already excellent, while never being the focal point of the Boston offense. Kevin played with the Chief, DJ and Danny Ainge, not to mention Bird who got his 25-30 every night. Put him on most any other team and McHale might have put up numbers close to 30 and 13 every season. He'll never get as much notariety as he deserves as an individual player due to the greatness of his Celtic teams. Next to Karl Malone, he was the best pure PF to play the game.
