ive never actually seen the whole thing...since im a little young to have seen it but the media makes it look different sometimes, so they are biased towards MJ a little bit

I've seen some of the dunks, and think Jordan deserved the title. I know some of the doubters point to how it was in Chicago and all, but I don't think that had much to do with it. In a recent interview, Nique said that he still thinks he should have won, and that he and Jordan still get into about that one, which I think is kinda cool, that something like that would bring two legends together and epitomize the linking of them that will always exist.

I know both of thsoe cats were goin' off with the dunks.....I need to find a copy of that now so I can watch it...
I agree he was overrated, I did not see him lead the team in the way kobe does, He does not have a complete game, i have seen him play becuase i have loads ofold time videos, apart from a dun and 15 foot range, He had nothing else!!!

As for your claims he had only a dunk and 15 foot range, that would probably explain the 7 times on one of the All NBA teams, the 26, 668 career points, the 7169 career rebounds, the scoring title in '86 with over 30 points a game, 11 consecutive seasons at over 20 points a game and his massive contributions to a Hawks team that won over 50 games for four straight seasons. Extremely overrated
Yup, and we know how well the Lakers play without Shaq too Sir Dez. Wilkins was very underrated by the public. Over 26k points says it all, and he was a 3 point threat later in his career.
The same people calling him overrated are the same ones who likely never seen him play a single NBA game. Classic <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I did not see him lead the team in the way kobe does, He does not have a complete game, i have seen him play becuase i have loads ofold time videos, apart from a dun and 15 foot range, He had nothing else!!! </div> Yeah,Kobe is a great leader...What have the Lakers done without Shaq last season and this season? care to remind me? Kobe needs another superstar to win games. I find it really funny that you say Kobe is a better leader than Nique Only thing Kobe is better than Nique at is cheating on his wife with a 19 year old girl. Show the great Nique some respect.

Yes,Kobe is a great leader..in Shaq's absence he's done a marvelous job showcasing those wonderful leadership skills...I mean since Diesel has been out Kobe has led his team to four straight losses. Same thing happened last year,Kobe almost led them right into the cellar in Shaq's absence. Now if Kobe was all that AND so much better than 'Nique I don't think this would be happening. The fact is fellas Dominique Wilkins put the Hawks on his back and carried them. They were a threat to win the title before Moses Malone came onboard, and that was all because of one man...Dominique. He carried the Hawks franchise like few NBA history have carried their teams. To say he wasn't a leader or to say he was overrated is a severe disservice especially from a buncha cats that didn't see him play during his prime, dominant years. My advice? Do some research. Watch some games before you comment on something you know very little about. I'll holla

DOMINIQUE SHOULD'VE WON. That's not a knock on Jordan becasue he had some sick dunks himself. What people don't know is that Jordan repeated the foul-line dunk. He did it earlier in the contest, and the second one (he made) is the one he's famous for (the double pump one). Dominique had a good lead with one dunk remaining, and he did this crazy windmill, but got a low score and only a 48 pt lead. If he had a higher score, it would've been out of reach. Jordan then attempted the foul line dunk, and MISSED. He tried again and that's the one in all the posters. That's 3 freethrow dunk attempts in one contest, 2 of them were successful At the very least, that dunk contest should've been a draw...
