<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trail_Blazer76:</div><div class="quote_post"> Do you know the definition of statutory rape? Age is irrelevant.</div> Why does it matter that I said "young" As thats exactly what she is.My post was actually sarastic as you can see when I replied to Stojakovic post of Kobe being the "hardest worker in the NBA off the court".
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting allnet:</div><div class="quote_post">Ben Wallace Malik Rose Bruce Bowen Ron Artest Kevin Garnett Allen Iverson Those are the main guys....Just see what they do in games. They fight so hard for position. They are told to do a job, they do. I disagree,It's not hard to screw young girls.</div> Finally someone with visions of great players. Those guys seriously work so hard especially the fact that Artest and Garnett having such tremendous tenacity, always serious, never letting up even in things like the All-Star games. It's no wonder KG was MVP then and there. As for AI, he is man, the best little big man. Great at so many things and tremendous heart in the games. He'll take people so much stronger, so much bigger then him just so that his team would be close to winning or actually win. You have to admit he's got courage and bravery. Look at all the injuries and damage. edit: I don't see why people speak ill of Kobe, he's probably not a bad fellow. She was described as a whore back in her town anyway. She's probably out for the fame. Sorry for speaking off topic, I just felt it was wrong to judge without evidence on either of them. "Innocent until proven guilty."
KG hands-down. The guy makes a bazillion dollars a year and never takes a play off. His hard work he does on the off season shows as his numbers continue to rise to hands-down MVP level.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Trail_Blazer76:</div><div class="quote_post">LOL, come on guys. AI is not anywhere near being the hardest worker in the NBA. He has missed shootarounds, practices, etc. The hardest working players are the ones that we don't know about. The 7th/8th man who wants to make an impacts off the bench, with hopes of moving up in the rotation. </div> I agree wit you that the bench guys go unnoticed. Also the ones in teams that aren't winning or don't have a flashy game, the workhorses. One of the players that I always see hustling is Shane Battier, whenever I watch a Grizzlies game. Also Keon Clark, it just seems that when he's on, the announcer mentions him every five seconds. For work off the court, although many don't like him, Karl Malone. I mean, just look at the shape the guy is in and how durable he has been. He's the first in the gym and the last one out.
I think in practice Kobe Bryant might be the hardest worker. I mean there is a saying "To be the best, you have to work harder than the rest". Kobe Bryant is the perfect image of that. This guy busts his butt in practice every day and is one of the hardest workers there is. After the Lakers won their rings, he took a week off before he started getting ready for the next year. He worked out every freaking day at UCLA, trying to improve his game to get it to the level that he wanted it to be. I remember one of his biggest faults of himself was that he did not like his mid-range game. So he worked his butt off during the summer a few years ago and now he just might be the best mid-range player in the game. He is one of the best basketball players in the world and the reason he got that way is because he worked hard at it.
I might have a little different definition of hard work. When I think about hard workers in the NBA I think about guys like Mark Madsen, Brian Scalabrine, Dan Gadzuric... Guys with not a lot of talent (NBA wise), but who are depending on their work effort for their spot in the rotation.
I personally dont like shaq's attitde, He's got it into his head that he can come in and dominate and he is greedy I dont like guys like that, To tell the truth i preffered the old days, I loved that style of basketball, Guys like shaq put me off the game, I dont care what no one says if he was 110lbs lighter, He would not push everyone around with his ass, I like a good attitude, a hard work ehtic and players that want to become better even though they are the best, This is what seperates Kobe, He is the best period!
There is one player nobody has mentioned yet. Bobby Jackson of the Kings. This guy comes off the bench with so much hussle, speed, enthusiam he is so fun to watch. Also, he seems to play "Harder" coming off the bench. It seems like he wants to prove himself or something. Other player that comes to mind is Ron Artest. A lot of players care about individual stats like points. Ron Artest cares about that but his main flavor is defense. he will hussle so fast to grab a rebound or take a steal.........................and then go for the points.

Some others that haven't been mentioned are Reggie Evans, Mark Blount, Lawrence Funderburke and Rick Brunson. Guys who don't necessarily have a lot of talent, but they work their butts off and hustle. Pat Burke was another one.
Wally Szczerbiak works out constantly, from what I understand. I think he wants to be the strongest man in the world or something. He works really hard, but I don't know if he's the hardest worker. I'm just throwing a name out there. I'd want to pick Ben Wallace, just because of the Pistons' whole marketing slogan, "Goin' to Work". Thinking of a hard worker, Big Ben comes to mind.
You guys are just talking about stars and players fans recognize. The real hard workers of the NBA are the veteran players such as Andrew Declerque and Bo Outlaw. They hustle, defend with their life and play hard every night to overcome their physical differentials from the top players.
Ron Artest is my guy. Built like a brick house, athletic, always up in your face and is very aggressive. That takes a "want".

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Dom_Sensei:</div><div class="quote_post">Maybyner Hilario a.k.a nene</div> No 'aka' anymore mate, he officially changed his name to nene before the season. Just like many famous Brazilian athletes (Ronaldo, Romario, Denilson), he wanted to go by one name.
I think it's Jason Kidd. He's one of the most, if not the most unselfish players in the NBA. He gets the ball to his teammates and still puts up his share of points. He turned around the Nets in his first year with them and led them to the NBA Finals, and he's a team leader.
