YAY! We won 97-81! [IMG] Glenn finished with season high 26 points and AI had 17(4-16) and 11 assists,he also played with flu.Eric Snow finished with 16 points and 10 dimes.Isn't it amazing that 2 players had atleast 10 assists and 2 players had atleast 10 rebounds(when did you last see this on the Sixers roster?)

Jason Kidd suffered a sprained left middle finger and didn't return to the game [IMG] I hope that he misses few games so we can catch the Nets [IMG]

    Breakdown

The Sixers demolished the Nets, not just basketball wise, but statistics wise as well. Every single category that matters, the Sixers did better. From the get-go we started outscoring them and limiting them on defense. Glenn Robinson was a monster in the first half, scoring 24 of his 26 points in the first two quarters. He was not scared to back down but just went at every single Net, and made them scared. However, his play suffered in the second quarter as he picked up three very quick fouls in four minutes, and sat for a while. In the end he finished 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. However Glenn might have been the story of the first half, but Allen Iverson was the story of the second half. After struggling in the first half and shooting a poor 0-7 field goals, Iverson found his shot in the fourth quarter and never let go of the trigger. He went on a 5 point streak late in the third quarter, and in the fourth he improved immensily. Though turning the ball over a couple of times, he also dished it out as well, 11 times at that, to go along with his 17 points. It's safe to say that Glenn and Allen once again played as teammates as was shown in the game against the Clippers two nights before. Could this be a new thing, a new partnership, has the Sixers front office finally found someone to tag along with Allen? Possibly. Stay tuned folks!

It wouldn't be fair to only talk about the two superstars of the team, when the whole team chipped in. Allen Iverson wasn't the only Sixer in double-digits, Eric was as well. Scoring most of his 16 points and dishing out most of his 10 assists in the second half. He truly was a great addition to a rally for the W. You guys still want to trade him? Kenny Thomas put up his fair share as well with 6 points and 11 rebounds. Speaking about rebound, the Sixers outscored the Nets 48-30 in rebounding.

How about them Nets?! Well there's not much to say, they were off, really off. From the get-go they joined an alliance with Allen Iverson to see who could miss more shots, overall he prevailed, but they gave him a strong run for the top spot. The first half was a disaster for the Nets who couldn't get anything into the basket, many players were shooting around 15-20% field goal wise. Still they kept on, but couldn't get past the offensive force of Glenn Robinson, Allen Iverson, and Eric Snow.

The Nets lost Jason Kidd with 7:01 to go in the fourth quarter with a sprained finger, he didn't return.

    Players of the Game

Normally there would be only one player fo the game, and statistically that would be Glenn Robinson, but since both played two very different games at two very different times, they are both Co-Players of the Game. Glenn Robinson put the Sixers on his shoulder in the first half, and Allen did the same in the second.

I loved how Glenn and AI played, all effort. Derrick Coleman is back to being his lazy ass self. Great win though, probably really boosted morale, I hope the 76ers got their confidence back.

Nets played with no heart. Glenn did more than score a lot of points. He demoralized the Nets' morale.

BTW, you can keep wishing that Kidd miss a lot of games. He'll play in the next game. [IMG]
