<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Progidy:</div><div class="quote_post">Not to mention John Starks, who had great defense with MJ, and that great dunk in the playoffs.</div> John Starks, no doubt. That dunk over Jordan? Priceless
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Progidy:</div><div class="quote_post">Who are ure fav. little big men of the NBA of all time.</div> What do you mean little big men? Do you mean guards or players undersized for their position? If you mean the latter, I must say Barkley(undersized as in height).
I think you mean big little men... little big men are big men who are undersized, such as Charles Barkley or Alonzo Mourning.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Progidy:</div><div class="quote_post"> Spud Webb- proved everybody during the slam dunk contest in 85 (or I think 85)</div> It was '86 when he beat out his own teammate, Dominique Wilkins, for the dunk title...
I say Isiah Thomas, what a leader, shooter and passer. Plus his attitude and toughness for a little man was impeccable. Spud Webb was a hard worker and challenged everybody so him as well. Him and Boykins are on the same level of being so short and doing so well in the NBA. I think AI deserves mad props though, he's such a brave small man, the biggest little man. He'll fight and get injured in doing so. John Stockton, what an intelligent player, incredible offense, defense, court vision, speed, technique and finesse. Barkley, now he's in a league of his own, so powerful and brave, like AI, challenged everyone. Plus he was damn good, the uncanny ability of ultimate offense paired up with his great defense and court vision for rebounds.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting DaBullsOwnU:</div><div class="quote_post">Def John Stockton....one the best passers of all time. see his career assists total</div> #1 assists in history. Great stat but he never wona championship.
By what the title says,Little big men,I'm thinkin' more on the terms of smaller than normal post players not undersized guards. So with that in mind I'll pick one of my favorite cats of all time...Sir Charles! The Round Mound Of Rebound! He's was about 6'5 but played like he was about 6'10! No other player I ever saw played with as much tenacity and ferocity as Barkley. He needed that attitude tho' because the cats he was bangin' against were usually much bigger. More often than not Charles came out on top tho'...
Nate "Tiny" Archibald was the best ever, we will never see a little man put up numbers like that ever again (leading the league in scoring and assists) And on that Starks dunk, it was not over MJ, was more over Grant, but not directly over anybody.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ming637:</div><div class="quote_post">John Starks, no doubt. That dunk over Jordan? Priceless</div> So Starks dunked 'over' MJ? (Which anyone who ever seen it KNOWS he didn't throw it down on Money) Thats one 'dunk' against the countless countless times Jordan locked down Starks on D,then lit him up on O.
