Yes, I do.... [IMG] He was my favorite player behind Big Ben, and brought so much energy to the floor...I can't believe Bob Sura took his place...

it's alright. we have Chucky Atkins to shoot the ill-advised 3 pointer now [IMG]

i liked Barry's energy, but i think he was targetted as a defensively liability by the other teams.

Yeah he was a great shooter for a big guy, doesn't take after his old man though. Bob Sura is good though, he's a hard worker and doing well for the team. It would be nice if you had Artest or Brad Miller though.

The thing I miss most about Jon Barry is his energy. Whenever we were down he was able to bring the whole team up and make us go on runs. We don't have that from one guy anymore. Darvin Ham can possible do it, with some of his dunks. However, he won't be getting those every game unlike JB who could hit a 3-pointer from anywhere.

The only person who could provide an instant spark is....Darko. The team goes crazy when he does anything, the crowd goes crazy when he does anything. Instant momentum change, we need to use it if we are down.

I want JB back though, I'm very sympathetic that he became injured and will miss a huge amount of games. He didn't deserve that.

I loved Jon Barry and his threes. I definitely miss him, the Pistons traded away their bench in the offseason. Barry was the one who named them, wasn't he? The Alternatorz! That was so cool...I loved him. I'm glad that he was a Piston, although it was only for a short time.

Yep, the ALTERNATORZ! I had a Alternatorz T-shirt, too small now.

I miss the energy Barry brings off the bench. He was a poor defensive player but some players*cough* Jamal Crawford *cough* are downright awful and still play big minutes. Barry, while unskilled at D, was at least an active defender and forced a few turnover's with his high energy play.

I think ever team could use a guy who plays at a breakneck pace the way Barry does on their bench. Especially against teams that are not as deep. Pretend you're Mike Redd. in the playoffs against Detroit. You've busted your ass for 35 minutes straight and now, in the 4th quarter in your 80somethingth game of the season you have to chase Barry around and contest every single one of his shots, from any range. And then a few minutes later you have to deal with a freshly rested Rip Hamilton or Chauncey Billups (and if redd goes to the bench, then Hamilton/Billups is matched up with a reserve like Damon Jones. In other words his 15 minutes of high energy play per night was valuable in ways that will never show up in box scores or espn.com articles.

Unfortunately Detroit couldn't move Chucky Atkins and had to get rid of Barry to make cap room to sign memo this offseason.

I miss the energy he brought to the team.Any time he was on the court you knew he was going to do something speical to get the fans into it.Wether it was making a big three, diving on the floor to get a loose ball,an offensive rebound or even slapping high fives with his fellow team-mates.He always gave the Pistons a boost off the bench. You could sense as soon as he checked in from the scorers table he was going to bring something speical to the game.Great three-point shooter, fearless player he also was never afraid to get into the other team's heads.

Thats exactly why he was loved just as much in Sacramento.

Barry is the type of player every NBA team wants off the pine.

I would love him in Cleveland.
