Very true. We need to go on a huge run and hope that 3 or 4 teams go on a long losing streak. It just doesn't seem likely.
first of all, all you people saying they have a GREAT shot at making the playoffs... think about it there record is 9-28... they are last in the East, 8 games behind a playoff spot....and thats considering philly loses or the other teams in thier way keep losing.... and there is that HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE "possibility" of Magic losing too... first of all, when you start 1-19, its pretty hard to make a playoff spot....just cause its the East neccesaairly doesnt make it THAT much easier....every opponent the Magic face are just as hungry....its two teams, both wanting to win.... if Mcgrady slips up anytime (injury) you can kiss goodbye the chance of even being 10th or something in the East.....but the thing about the NBA, teams can slip easily and other teams can benefit (I.E- Toronto was at 4th at the 2002 all-star break) then slipped to 13 but actually made the playoffs... to the make the playoffs the magic have to go on winning streaks of any kind, may it be short ones or long ones....as long as for every month or so, they win more games then they lose, they maybe have a chance of atleast seeing 9th or 10th or maybe even sneaking into the 8th place....but it all depends on thier play if they go all out till the end of the season (which i doubt they will), they have a shot of FIGHTING with another team for the last playoff spot...but if they get plaugued by injuriues or play lazy games, they have no chance.... admit it, if it wasn't the magic and say it was another team in the East (lets say Miami) who had started off 1-19, would you (as magic fans) say they have a chance? But dont count out the east that much I dont think so. Again, stranger things have happened....
No, we wouldn't, btw most of us Magic fans have said that it won't be easy and it's not likely for us to make the playoffs. Good points though. I doubt we have a shot, unless we make a huge trade. Even if that happens you have to consider chemistry. Hopefully Grant Hill doesn't play this year at all, so that he can rest up and maybe be healthy enough to start the season. ALL I GOTTA SAY THOUGH IS PLAY ZAZA, HUNTER, AND GAINES, THEY ARE THE FUTURE.
