Leandro Barbosa

    I think that Leandro Barbosa can be a stellar player in a few years. In his 1st career start he tallyed 27points and his 2 starts after that he still has had solid games postin 10 points in both. I think thats why Colangelo traded Starbury so Barbosa could develop and they are building for the future arent they? Barbosa undoubtably will be allstar material IMO.

    Colangelo did the trade to get cap space and a future. Although he could have been part of the reason Marbury was traded, he wasnt the reason.

    i know that was my mistake i accidently put in the instead of 1 of the. But he is a solid player.

    I like the talent this guy has, but I'm not sure about his actual abilities to get people involved. He doesn't seem to have the natural point guard insticts to know where people are and when to make the pass, things like that. However, I think JJ has been doing a great job of being the assist man for the Suns. People say they want JJ to be more consistent, but he has always been one of the Suns' more well-rounded players. His scoring just goes on and off, but even that has been staying consistent lately.

    Yea Joe johnson is getting pretty good too but lets not forget that this thread is about Leandro Barbosa.. does anyone got any videos or pictures of him?? or any Links?

    Barbosa is a very undersized SG, like Francis. He's a brilliant scorer and terrific shooter, but the most assists he'll get you will be like 5 a game.

    you never know, maybe some day down the road he will be a more prolific passer.

    Barbosa looks like he is a good player in his games so far.

    However, I think the Suns could be better if they switch Joe Johnson and Barbosa's positions. That would make Barbosa play off the ball and turn him into one of the Suns' top scorers. Joe Johnson could also be the big point guard the Suns should want. Hope they can turn this duo into the Allen Iverson/Eric Snow mould.

    About Barbosa getting 5 assists at most, he just posted 9 along with 21points last game, hope he does good today against the Jazz. So does anybody got any videos/pics/links of this guy the only stuff i can find on him in english is on nba.com and google images.

    It isn't anything rare for a guy to post 9 assists when still scoring points, you even see guys like Shaq get 9 assists every here and there. I agree he probably will never average more than 5 also. I'm not trying to discredit him for getting 9, but everyone does that once in a while. A pointguard should do it pretty often actually.
