If you were Thomas what would your next move be? A) Trade for Rasheed Wallace Trade for Darius Miles C) Trade for First Round Draft Pics D) Fire Don Cheany E) Other
trade for miles because miles can finish a play and run the fast break as good as anyone and him, marbury, and houston would bea great trio. + miles is a good player and he has potential which he will live up to.
lets do this process of elimination B- darius miles is defintly not what we need, sure he's athetic and long but thats about it, the man is lazy no worth ethic and he will not change in NY, miles is worth williams so this is a definite NO C-trade for picks....why do this? thomas wants to win and you can win with a piece of paper givin to mr stern to pick the player, its this year's finals thomas wants to win guys not the offseason. D- fire cheany, maybe 1 more games not immidetly give him a 2 games max then fire his ass that brings us to the real answer A-trade for wallace, this is what we need to bring a championship marbury-houston-wallace is what we need to win
There was an article in the NY Post that said talks broke down between the Knicks and Blazers, cos they don't want to take KVH. They'd rather have (I think) Kurt Thomas/Frank Williams/Michael Doleac, but the salaries don't add up.

I would not get Miles..no no no no no no no...'Sheed would be the one I would go after and then Camby if he can't get 'Sheed. But stay away from Miles. Since his days as a rook with the Clips I been a fan BUT his game has digressed. He hasn't gotten any better whatsoever. What's more he hasn't shown any inklin' of a reason why I should think different. Sure he's still very young but we should have seen SOME improvement by now. So what..he's athletic..but he doesn't bring anything worthy to the table other than that.
[quote name='Ravenous']If you were Thomas what would your next move be? a) Get Kwame out of Wash NOW. (Think of the future !) Get Rid of Van Horn, (useless to Starbury), he's better off in the west, Seattle or Portland. He has no idea what it means to fight. c) Get rid of Doleac even if he has to sell peanuts at the garden, he's better off. He can sell cars in Rutherford. d) Fire Chaney at the end of the season. If I were him, I would have left with Van Gundy. e) Bring in a defensive minded coach who likes a running game on offense and a grind on defense. College coach ? ok too. Personally, I'm tired of re-tread NBA coaches. I'm tired of dumb x-player coaches too. Just who may be that creative intelligence ? f) I love Bobby Jackson in Sacram. Wonder when his contract expires? Just a thought. F.Williams... expendable. Take a draft pk. g) Bring in a B_R_U_I_S_E_R
He needs to bring DMiles into town he would work great with starbury. DMiles has potential and he will live up to it with the right players on his team to help him do so. I also second the idea of bringing Kwame in but i have one doubt, Mike Sweetney wont be able to develop.
