<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Pistons haven't allowed 100 points in 36 games this season and 38 consecutive games dating to last season, but that streak will be tested Sunday when the high-scoring Dallas Mavericks come to the Palace. The Mavericks are second in the league in scoring, averaging 102.3 points.

Brown, trying to explain the low output from Pistons opponents, said: "I would hope that it's because we're getting better defensively and not because we're not trying to run or the games are so slow. I don't know what it is. Teams are taking a lot of threes. I think defenses have improved. I think passing and ball movement are not a priority anymore."

STILL HOPE FOR Z: Center Zeljko Rebraca hasn't played since a 20-minute stint Dec. 27 against Atlanta, in which his defense helped win the game.

"I don't know where I can play him," Brown said. "He's doing fine. I'm dying to play him."

Rebraca is competing for playing time with Elden Campbell, Mehmet Okur, Ben Wallace, Darvin Ham and Corliss Williamson.

"If he were a young guy, I would've played him the last six minutes" against Houston before putting in Darko Milicic, "or I'd played them both together, but I wouldn't want to embarrass him in a situation like that. It'll all shake out. That guy in practice . . . I see him getting better every day, and we need him."</div>

Just an article with some quotes about our defense. Brown says that he thinks that a large part of our defense is that the offense of all the teams has become worse. Always trying to downplay our accomplishments.

A small update on Zelly, and why he hasn't played recently. I'm glad he isn't playing, I think he is worthless. Althought, I don't know why he is competeing for time with Ham and Corliss, who should be playing at the 3 and not 4/5 where Zelly would play. However, that would make a jam at the 3, so there is no real way to fix our rotation. Other than trade/dump Zelly and Ham or something along those lines.
