I agree, the Hawks suck..the management doesn't have a clue nor does it seem they care...the best,I'd have to say it's the Dallas Mavericks or the Lakers..from a standpoint of wanting to win and taking care of the players and the fans.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting jyd2k4:</div><div class="quote_post">Worst: Atlanta hawks Best: Los Angeles Lakers (followed closely by the RAps!)</div> The Raps... You're kidding, right? The worst is probably eiter Atlanta or the way they're playing Washington... And the best you can't go wrong with either the Lakers,Celtics or San Antonio...
All-Time best, definitely Lakers and Celtics, Bird and Magic era. Simply dominating. As for more recent ones, San Antonio, look how far they've come since the day. Not to mention the Twolves, McHale is one heck of head of basketball operations. As for worst, I'd have to say the Wizards or Heat, look what happened to them. Especially when Jordan was in charge. What a big mistake that was.
What will you guys do after you named the best and worst of everything? Do it all over again? Because that is all I ever see. Creative
Worst is Atlanta Hawks...you cant name the wizards they are missing stackhouse! best teams right now 1)Wolves 2)Spurs 3)Lakers 4)Pacers

But I wouldn't be suprised if the same topics come up in a couple months.
Forbes Magazine rated the Lakers as the most valuable franchise in sports so I'll go with them. Worst would have to be the Hornets....they have a good team tho
what a retarded thread. what are you basing best and worst on? personal bias and preference? someone please lock this piece, and put it out of its misery
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting dj_premium_plus:</div><div class="quote_post">what a retarded thread. what are you basing best and worst on? personal bias and preference? someone please lock this piece, and put it out of its misery</div> Good point. Is this talent based? Cause the Clippers make the MOST money out of any NBA team, they pay their players NOTHING, and get a lot of ticket sales (comes with playing in LA) so that doesn't sound too bad to me... they'll be around for years while the Heat and Nets fold or move because they can't afford being an NBA team. TALENT-WISE (over the last 14 years) BEST = Chicago (6 Championships) WORST = Warriors (haven't made the playoffs in 10 seasons) FROFIT-WISE (over the last 14 years) BEST = Clippers WORST = Grizziles FAN BASE-WISE BEST = Sacramento/Dallas (last few years), Chicago (during Jordan years) WORST = Atlanta So as you see there are many aspects to the question... I guess people are picking based on who they like/dislike.

A lot of people were picking the Hawks as worst because they have alientated a great fans of ATL who usually support everything. Others were picking the Lakers best because they do a good job of balancing winning and making money...
