<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Tyrone Hill wants to come back to Cleveland. That's right. Hill, who first played for the Cavs from 1993 to '97 and then from 2001 to '03, wants to return.

He wants to do more than play.

"I'm going to retire at the end of the season," said Hill, who was released by the Miami Heat last month. "I want to finish my career with a contender, but I wouldn't mind coming back to Cleveland. When my career is over, I want to be involved with player development. A former player is the best you can have at that position."

I read that this morning in the plain dealer. Tyron Hill OWN3Z! He would be that veteran leader that everyone oh so wants for this team.

I would not object toward him coming here, anything to help this team be more tough. This team plays so soft at times it drives me crazy.

    Like the song...

    "Call Tyrone"

I would agree Infante, make it the whole season. If we trade Ilgauskas for another scorer having Hill of the bench would be nice with Boozer, Battie, and Diop.

I think Paul and Pax are mapping out a their new roster at the moment and see what he needs. Signing Hill would depend on who we get for Z and Miles.

I believe they should sign him, but I don't know if I could watch another Cleveland game. That's one ugly ass man.

lol when i see Tyrone Hill my eyes begin to water. [IMG]
now as for signing Tyrone Hill, I have mixed fealings. I think that he could be too old to be effective. On the other hand, he finally gives the Cavs a natural Backup power forward, he is pretty good on D and his offense can be really hard to stop at times. I say sign him and give him a shot. Then at the end of the year give him a job as a scout or something. Just keep him off tv or i won't have any tears left after the game.

I care what they look like. If they're so bad I can barely watch, there's a problem. He's not helping me, so...

Tyrone "I Owe Charles Oakley Money" Hill would indeed be a good veteran leadership presence for the Cavs..I suspect it would be a good thing for Boozer too..

The Cavs might have to wait for Tyrone to finish out the rest of the season of Skeletor before he can join the team.

Isn't he a head case? Didn't bad mouth being here last time when he left.

if so... screw him, we dont need him... let he twist in the wind at home after being cut. He must have NO ONE calling him if he brought up our name.. why would you want to play here on a team that sucks for half a season???

gravy train pay check thats why.
