i think its a good decision from the giants standpoint, i mean who wants their future to start against philly? one of the biggest if not biggest headache defenses in the league. good job by coughlin sacraficing warner, i bet eli starts by week 3.
I agree. Coughlin made the right decision. Eli's career could be delayed significantly going up against Philly in game 1. Especially w/ Jim Johnson (eagles D co-ord) having all that time to game plan.
Beyond that, Warner is just playing better right now. The first game was a disaster for Warner and Eli looked pretty good. Reversal of fortune and better play against a tougher defense landed Kurt with the starting job, and I think that it's the right way to go for now. I don't think that Eli will be starting by week 3, but I do think that he will get the nod before the season is over.
i think is was good because Eli has no experience in te regular season, and warner right now is better vs tougher defenses also i remember troy aikmen saying that starting his rookie season probably shortened his career by 2 years. good move
there screwed either way JK!!! yea, im not to thrilled with the way weve played in pre season but we did beat the cheifs! Im just hoping that Omeiyara steps up and has a good season so we can have 2 good DE Strahan will led the league in sacks im worried about the Will's But i still think we are the cinderella this year
