Not sure if it's the FIRST... but I do remember that, I think they had one before that, not sure. Anyway, I used to LOVE that layout and the way they did stuff... I hated every single time they've updated. I hate the way it looks now, too much CRAP, that is such a better layout
Those were the days Knicks and Heat fighting it out for the atlantic division. *misses those games and fights *

That is where it all started,we went from 5-7 users online daily to 50+.We have added so many new and great posters since that time
I did a search for NBADRAFT.net and lookie what I found... http://web.archive.org/web/20001110081000/...w.nbadraft.net/ Their predictions for the 2001 draft... this is in Nov of 2000. Check out some of these predictions. - Loren Woods #2 pick - Gerald Wallace #3 pick - Jason "Jay" Williams #6 - Brendan Haywood (12) and Carlos Boozer (13) go BEFORE Drew Gooden (17) - Tayshaun Prince #42 - Jared Jeffries #56 - Melvin Ely #57 For those of you unfamiliar with the drafts, Woods was a mid-second rounder that year, Wallace was late-1st, Jay Williams was the 2nd pick, Gooden went 4th as Haywood was late-1st, and Boozer went early-2nd the next year. Prince, Jeffries, and Ely were all 1st rounders in the 2002 draft. Also Darius Rice was picked to go VERY VERY late in the 2nd round... this year he'll be mid-late 1st. So it shows how staying in school can increase (or decrease) your draft position. And it also shows how wrong nbadraft.net can be

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting scorbutic:</div><div class="quote_post">- Loren Woods #2 pick</div> Bahahahahaha, oh man, I can't possibly see how he could have ever been predicted as the #2 overall pick. I see him play at almost every Heat home game, and he is awful. He has absolutely no basketball skill whatsoever, if it wasn't for his height he wouldn't even be worthy of the NBDL. Anytime Stan puts Loren Woods into the game, the boo's from the crowd are endless.
Yeah, I remember kids talking about Loren Woods being the next "big time" center. I don't think they realized he has no skill and is as thin as a rail. But he was actually good at Arizona. But he had Arenas and Jefferson to work with.

Man, that old NBA.com is ugly. The current on is really nice though. I'm thinkin about singing up for the inside ticket on nba.com.
I sort of remember the NBA.com before that one, it might have been the first. Back then, that was the only site I ever went on(of course, I only went on the Internet like once every two months back in '95), and I stopped going when the small history section they had back then got cut off the site.
Damn, both of these sites are crazy, especially the old JBB. It's crazy how something can start from that and become a great active site. But I guess that's how they all start.

And that was even mentioned when he was in college, he doesn't have the NBA body to fight inside for boards, nor is he a good offensive player.
