Next season. After some housecleaning, a top draft pick and emergency relief for Tracy McGrady, the Magic will be back. How can I be so sure? Have you seen the new Southeast Division that the Magic will move into next season? It's hard to look at it with a straight face. Here's the Magic's competition: the Atlanta Hawks, Washington Wizards, Miami Heat and the expansion Charlotte team. Larry, Mo, Curly and Joe. No New York, no New Jersey, no Philadelphia, no Boston. All of them are, of course, leading Orlando in the Atlantic Division. The new division could be the worst in any major sports league.</div> The first thing a looked at when I saw the league changes was this division. What a joke! It is downheartening though that we can only win in a division like this.
farther down in the article it says that the teams in our division have a combined 44-96 record(or something close to that) Now that's a joke. Can't wait til next year!
Hahah I laughed earlier in the year when i saw that... Whoever put these divisions together must think of some sympathy for these team.. or they just fell in that way cause of where they are located
I dont know if that division will be to bad, the Miami Heat look pretty good with Wade, the Wizards SHOULD have Stack and Arenas, and i expect the Magic to recover, the only team that will be dragging the division down is the Hawks, and probably the Bobcats
Not neccessarily, right now we stink, we will need huge changes to make us good next season. Don't forget we're the worst team in the league, so we'd be last place in our division.

They're trying hard anyway. The Magic can amound to lots of things. They just need more power, particularly on the defensive end. If they ever get that guy that Sportsrock keeps talking about, I'll be glad, they deserve to win. The likes of poor Gooden and Lue having to lose.
