being the biased uconn fan that i am.. they'll all go top ten in the draft. any nba team that passes up on them is stupid and should be sold immediately. ben gordon could be the point guard the cavaliers need. the lakers can trade shaq for the #1 pick, re-sign kobe, and draft emeka at #1, and have someone else thrown in the deal and more draft picks to even it out. and hopefully the lakers can draft villanueva too, lmao. ;0. kobe, emeka, villanueva, gp, that's a dream come true. but ok, it won't happen. but aside from ben gordon on the cavs.. and assuming no one trades picks.. i dont even want to continue.. if i see one of my boys on the bulls, warriors, hawks, magic, i'll **** myself. again.
I'm sorry, but you make no sense at all. Why would the Lakers trade Shaquille Oneal for the #1 pick? Emeka Will be nothing to Shaq. You make no sense.
I think he was joking props,Uconn have a very talented team, love to get up and down the court, have sharpe shooters and play tough defense. The big fella in the middle makes teams worry about him alone.Whenever there is a chance for an easy lay-up teams are always wondering where Emeka is.Right now they are the best team in college basketball. Ben Gordon will be a very good pick for most teams in the NBA.Loves coming off screens by firing up a three-pointer.Can get to the basket very well and finish.

HOPE THAT CLEARS EVERYTHING UP. it'd be like replacing shaq w/ a better ben wallace. which isn't too damn shabby if you ask me.

You gotta think for 2 - 3 seasons he gonna be at the mercy of the likes of Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett. Now 2 - 3 seasons go by Payton will most likely be retired and Malone surely will be. You want Kobe leading the team? I think not. Look at the job Kobe has done in the past 'leading' the team, especially last season. Come on brah, trading Shaq to get Okafor is ludicrous and Jerry Buss would never do it. Trading the possible best center ever for a toss-up? Makes no sense whatsoever. In my mind Shaq's 60 games a season are better than anyone else's 82.
How in the world would the LAkers be able to trade shaq anyways with his huge contract. They would have to take up to 6-7 players just to match...that's the part that doesn't make sense. It's not feasible...
Shaq isn't going to be traded for anybody, unless of course Minnesota would be interested in dealing KG..yeah, haha, good one. Seriously though, Shaq is going to make somewhere in the area of 30 million dollars for the next two seasons, he's goin' out in purple & gold - no matter what! I don't even want to speculate on the Kobe situation right now, it's still way too clouded. Let's just go ahead and assume that at least two of your boys from UConn will likely end up in basketball purgatory. Emeka looks bound for Cleveland or Chicago, and Ben might end up falling to Golden State or the Clippers. Villanueva needs to stay in school for another year, he's still not ready for the next level.
ok.. i KNOW it is NOT going to happen.. it's what I WANT to see happen.. if i was mitch kupchak, i'd make that happen.. somehow. and kobe never HAD the team by himself. as his team only.. when shaq is no longer in site, then it'll be kobe's team. you can't base his freaking performance in a months worth of games, or the past few this season.. give kobe at least a FULL SEASON by himself or two and see how he does w/ the lakers, w/o shaq, then feel free to speak up. and someone brought up emeka guarding duncan and kg.. well he wouldn't guard kg to begin with because kg doesn't play center, he lingers around the 3 / 4 the most, and yes, i know he CAN play center, but he doesn't start games as center. and how else would emeka get better if he doesnt play the best in the league? so what if he has to guard duncan? LET HIM GUARD DUNCAN! i'd want him to guard duncan!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting okaforever:</div><div class="quote_post"> i dont even want to continue.. if i see one of my boys on the bulls, warriors, hawks, magic, i'll **** myself. again.</div> lol...Hopefully Orlando will take Okafor..all Magic fans are looking foward for that to happen..he will be a big difference there.
Shaq is worth at least three Okafors, so Kupchak would never let that happen. When you have superstars like Shaq, you can't always make that smooth transition to stay a playoff team. With Kobe, they may stay in the playoff picture as one of the bottom two seeds after Shaq leaves, but even with Okafor they wouldn't make noise. KG or Duncan would eat Emeka for lunch. Gordon may be an impact scoring point like Dwyane Wade, but I don't think so. I think he's gonna have trouble adjusting to the L. And I agree that Villenueva needs another year, and hopefully Calhoun will convince him of that.
Okafor is my favorite college player, and i so badly want the suns to get a good pick so they can draft him.

THOUGH.. if andrew lavender goes in the draft.. i'm sure lebron will have some say in perhaps drafting him since they played all the hs all american games together. heck.. i'd love to see lebron, villanueva, and lavender all together! i already know villanueva and lebron can play well w/ each other.

1 - lakers are not trading shaq for rights to emeka 2 - cleveland doesnt need any type of guard they have wagner and lebron and finally 3 - the lakers arent gettin charlie villuenava if cleveland got villueneva that would be SICK if anyone saw the mcdonalds all american game you saw how well they played together <font color="Red"> Please use the edit button to make changes to your posts if you are the last one to put a post up (meanbing don't double/triple post) - KJ</font>

okaforever, you haven't realized you aren't allowed to joke or post what kind of team you'd like? Every post where somebody either jokes or fantisizes about certain players going to certain teams, there's always 10 people posting why it can't happen... even though the person who made the post, does realize that Anyway, if you really WANTED something shouldn't it be for Okafor, Gordon and Villanueva to STAY at UCONN? None of them are seniors (and in Villanueva's case he's a Freshman, so he's got plenty of time)... I'd love to see more players like Duncan who STAY in school reguardless of their draft position... NCAA basketball is becoming VERY diluded and pretty weak to watch, it will soon be JUST like NCAA baseball. Okafor and Gordon should be top 10 draft picks this year (although I'm still suspect of Gordon, not sure if he'll be a good point guard... I think he's a lot like Jason Terry, and as Atlanta knows, he's a true 2, but they are forced to play him as a 1, which causes problems when your PG doesn't pass)
