<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">January 13, 2004 -- The Chicago Bulls today announced they have activated guard/forward Scottie Pippen from the Injured List. Pippen was placed on the Injured List on Dec. 16 after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee on Dec. 12. At the same time, the Bulls have placed forward Chris Jefferies on the Injured List with a sprained left ankle. Pippen will be available for tonight?s game at the United Center when the Bulls host the Detroit Pistons. Pippen, originally scheduled to miss 6-8 weeks, has missed the Bulls? last 20 games, including 5 games prior to being placed on the Injured List. On the season, he has appeared in 12 games, making 4 starts, and is averaging 7.1 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 2.9 apg, 1.25 spg and 22.3 mpg.</div> Full Story
Activating Pippen hardly isn't going to do anything. They already lost Rose and Marshall, so what difference can he make? Pippen used to be one of the best guys out there - with those bank shots and great assists, but since he's gotten hold, his knees can't recover as fast. So if he does make a difference to the team (because they are in really big troube right now), I would be very suprised. I understand the Bulls are a great, young and talented team - but I belive Pippen coming back - will make them worse. Pippen is a great captain who teaches young people, but honestly think he should coach - not play. He almost ended his career with that injury.
