Raptors @ Detroit http://www.nba.com/media/playerfile/larry_brown.jpg"> Raptor Probable Starting Lineups PG: Jalen Rose/Chauncey Billups SG: Alvin Williams/Richard Hamilton SF: Vince Carter/Tayshaun Prince PF: Donyell Marshall/Ben Wallace C: Lonny Baxter*/Mehmet Okur *-for the injured Chris Bosh Injury Lists Toronto Raptors Eric Montross (IL-retired) Lamond Murray (IL) Michael Bradley (IL) Detroit Pistons Hubert Davis (IL) Lindsey Hunter (IL) Corliss Williamson is day to day Keys to the Game From the Raptor's Perspective -Box Out .. Keep or at least contain Wallace and Okur around the glass! -Transition Defence, Tayshaun, Rip, Chauncy and Dervin are all great fast break finishers, limit the turnovers to elimenate fast break chances -Frees more than Threes, This is a MUST! -Penetrate: there's no way we can beat a Larry Brown team depending on the outside shot. Air Canada's Prediction: Raptors by 6 thefranchise3's Prediction: Pistons by 10 Brought to you by thefranchise3 and Air Canada!
Bosh might play. I hope so he would match up against Okur better than Baxter. Air Canada why the hell do you think the Raptors will win by 6? Pistons have won 8 in a row i think and the game is on the road.
Toronto by 13. Im no crazy I did that ene miny mo thingy between Toronto and Detroit and I did it with lose by 13 or win by 13.
lol...that's pretty terrible airjordan. Yeah, we badly need Bosh because Prince i think is just too tall for Vince and he could hurt Vince's shot all night (UNLESS VINCE DRIVES). My prediction: If Bosh plays, Pistons by 4 If Bosh doesn't: Pistons by 12
Unless by some chance the raps play with the kind of heart they had in the last game with vince's points above the 30's instead of 20 then they may have a chance. But odds are pistons by 10
ya know what...after reading an article in the globe today...i think the raps will play well...they got the size and rebounding down low, but donyell can draw ben out of the paint with his outside game, and jalen/vince pose a lot of match-up problems. plus curry and coach have a few inside game plan ideas to take it to em...should be an interesting game
Raps by 6 IMO cause Vince is due for a good game. Can't wait for the game and Vince will crown BW like he did a feew years back. VC 30+ pts.
yeah it is...WHOA my prediction was way off....i didnt expect the pistons to come out that and the raptors actually took advantage...VC still stuck on 15....DM has 20 and had 14 and 12 at the half....good game so far.. Score: 59-49 in favor raps.. Vc will have like 24 pts....my guess
This game hurts because they were so close and got my hopes up but made a few errors down the stretch. But I commend the raps for giving the pistons a hard win, richard hamilton was a beast with those last minute shots.
Raptors could have easily sealed the win without ben in the pistons lineup... Only happens to the Raptors
jesus christ!!! what a tough loss! personally, i lay blame squarely on the shoulders of vince! he was shooting like garbage in the 3rd, and kept tossing up jumpers with tons of time on the clock, and that allowed the pistons to chip away at the nice lead we had at halftime. by the time vince started atacking the rim again, it was too little too late. plus we had absolutely NO answer for memet, he played unconcious. good game though...woulda been nice to see raps come out with a W and go into new orleans on a positive note.
yup...vince started getting easy, good looks and driving to the rim wayyy too late. Every game i wonder...why can't he do that from start to finish? If anything, it should be easier for him to do it in the 2nd half because there's less pressure than in the 4th. I thought we would've won, especially since we were leading by 6 after 3 quarters. Man, that last shot by Alvin was soooo close.... oh yeah...and we got KILLED on the boards by 15
man, i dunno what happend in the locker room at half time, but everything we were doing right in the first half, we seemed to get away from in the second half...really pissed me off. big up to donyell though, another sick game.
Good game Raptor fans! You almost stole one from us, I agree, you would have won if Vince kept driving. Prince was able to play pretty good defense most of the time, but Vince could have had his way. Glad that we won without Ben Wallace though, however it does show how needed he is on our team. The face that we outrebounded you by 15 really suprises me, especially without Ben.
