Mavs/Pistons I was thinking of the names Elden Campbell, Corliss Williams, Chucky Atkins. Yes, these guys do give the Pistons an spark of the bench but i think they could afford 2 loose these 3 for another upfront player. In the Mavs perspective chuck these 3 players in Antwan Jamison, Travis Best, and sean Bradley. As much as they wouldnt want 2 see Jamison go i think Elden Campbell, Corliss Williams, Chucky Atkins give the mavs what there looking for some allround players can play defense and offense. It also gives them more options of the bench. Just a bit of fun thinkin of it being a Pistons fan id love Antwan Jamison at the Palace. But it does benifit both teams.
Well, a couple of things. 1. If you are a Piston's fan, you belong in the Piston's forum. 2. This forum is for rumors and people normally want a link or at least something that makes the rumor seem possible. In the Piston's forum we have our own threads that deal with our wishes for trades. 3. First of all that trade doesn't work. Detroit does not meet the requirements of the CBA here. It would only work if Shawn Bradley was not in the trade. I personally am starting to like Chucky a lot now. He is playing well, and I wouldn't want to see him go. Although, Jamison sounds very nice. Think of this lineup: Billups Hamilton Jamison Ben Wallace Memo Championship quality.
I posted a trade just like that in the Pistons trade thread check it out and post any suggested trades there

So damn one sided, there is NO WAY the Mavs would even consider it.

I definatly dont think that that anyone from the pistons line-up should be traded. And the only bench player that should be removed I think should be Rebraca. He does nothing for them, granted he does have a heart condition but he isnt pistons material anyways not now. Everyone has a role on that team and thats how it should stay!!!!!! but thats Just an opinion.....
If you've watched any Pistons game latley, you can see how great Chu-Chu-Chu- Chucky Atkins has been playing. Corliss has also stepped up alot, but Elden is playing like pure garbage. I would like to have Jamison, but Shawn Bradely and Travis Best are two players I couldn't look at in a Pistons Uni.
I wouldn't mind trading Corliss, Elden and a filler for Jamison, which was suggested by allnet in the Piston's trade thread. However, I don't want to see Chucky go anywhere, he has been playing well recently and it would be a shame for him to leave. He is a very solid backup PG for us and he should stay that way.
I do like that trade allnet posted on the pistons board a lot. I've seen Prince play, and I really don't think he's fit to be a starter. He would be a good player off the bench, but to me it just didn't seem like he blongs as a starter. Bringing in Jamison would be great, and if they are able to re-sign Okur the Pistons will be set. Campbell is going downhill and I think that would be a great one. Makes sense for both teams, and especially for Detroit. It works better for the Pistons, because they still have Okur and Darko. Darko can start getting playing time, and I think that would help them a lot in the future. Too bad this is just a what-if trade, I would love to see it happen.
