I dont want to get into any old school rivalries or anything, I just want to talk about what is going on now in the league.

Detroit and a couple of teams have somthing building up with each other. Mainly those teams are in the central division. Teams like Indiana and New Orleans are two of Detroit's biggest rivals. I must say that New Jersey has to be the biggest rival to the Pistons right now. Last post season, the Nets swept the Pistons, and now Detroit is currently 1-1 with the Nets this season. Detroit has plenty of season splits with other teams like the LA Lakers, (1-1 last season, 1-1 this season) but a sweep has to be the worst thing to happen to a team. Don't expect any easy wins aginst Detroit this season, especially New Jersey.

I gotta go with the Knicks and Heat, I really wasn't watching much basketball before the early 90's so that is why I chose these teams.

Knicks vs. Heat was always my favorite...always close games, great players and the passion was just intense...

as a Rockets fan, I always love the Rockets-Spurs matchups...

Heat/Knicks - 1999 was a beautiful year for this rivalry. I mean think about it, so far the Knicks are the most memerable team in NBA history. Although they lost to the Spurs, they are still the only #8 ranked seed to make it to the NBA Finals.

Knicks/Pacers - 1999 ECF's were good to watch, when Larry Johnson hit that shot, that was one point and time I actually screamed so loud neighbors had to see what was going on.

Kings/Lakers - this is a presnt good rivalry. When Webber is heathy, and Shaq is playing well when these teams match up its going to be 2002 all over again.

Bulls/Pacers - MJ vs Reggie one of the classic NBA rivalries. 1998 ECF's where a joy to watch.

Lakers/Celitcs in the 80's had to save the best for last. I grew up watching Magic and Larry. These days the game has changed, ball hogs and throwing up wack shots. If you want to see real NBA games go back to the 80's to show how a the game is really played.

lol Miami is so hella embarassing...... they got knocked out by the 8th seed and New York went all the way to the finals too hahaha gotta give that team a lot of credit, had a lot of heart..... as a Laker fan 2002 playoffs was by far the best i have seen over a decade... hehe Kings got ripped off it was a bad officiating for Kings fans i admit it...... but they still won hahahaha
