Mark Jackson To Sign For Rockets

    We needed it badly, we got him. If he gives a good next 4-5 years he might past John Stockton on both, Ast and Steals.

    I think saying that he will break John Stockton's records is a bit much personally. To break his records he would need to get 5,591 assists and 1,674 steals over the remaining years of his career. This is his 17th year in the NBA so he doesn't have many years left. There is no way he would play for 5 more years however lets just pretend that he does. To break Stockton's record he would need to average 13.64 assists per game and 4.08 steal per game.

    In laymen's terms there is no possible way he could break John Stockton's records for assists or steals.

    Yeah, although I think Jackson should get minutes...it should be a 3-guard rotation that JVG runs, with Mobley, Francis and Jax. But its interesting to see Jim Jackson getting a lot of minutes at point forward simply because he is a sure-handed ballhandler and makes smart decisions. Either way, Mark should have a definite impact on and off the court.
