But the roles were reversed Tuesday night as Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 29 points and the Hawks built a big lead over San Antonio and held on for a surprising 86-77 victory. "It only takes one win to turn the season around," said Stephen Jackson, who played perhaps his best game of the season against his former team. "This could be that win." Sjax was very motivated for this game,I had a feeling he would play a very good all-round game.He and the Hawks needed it.This is the NBA, upsets can happen a lot in this league.
That game was fucking amazing. Never would I have thought the Hawks would beat the Spurs. But then again, my the looks of it, they were trying to converse energy for tonight's game against Minnesota. Rasho barely played in the second half, Ward got a lot of minutes, as did Brown and Kevin Willis.
