Lakers Sign Ime Udoka

    The Lakers have brought back G/F Ime Udoka to fill the out the roster. Udoka, who played with the Lakers this preseason, was fairly effective in the limited amount of playing time he recieved, but did not make the final roster cut. Udoka has been playing for the Charleston Lowgators of the NBDL this year, averaging 15 points and 7 rebounds per game.

    Well, from what I saw in preseason, the guy is an okay shooter. Hopefully he can give us some quick points in scrub time..

    Damn, I don't even remember that guy from the pre-season, have no idea who he is. Lakers need to look on to bigger and better things, like Dennis Rodman. :mrgreen:

    Udoka had a journal on his preaseaon with the lakers on the NBDL site. You should check it out..it gives you a little look at what those guys trying to make the team go through.

    It's good to hear Udoka is getting an opportunity. He impressed me as well. He was one of the last cuts during preseason. He's a poor man's Rick Fox, and I think he can help out the team.

    Nice find, I like this guy even more after reading his words. Even if he doesn't stick with the Lakers, I hope he gets a shot somewhere.

    Same here. I heard about him but i havent seen him play.

    Yea, i was rooting for him during preseason just becasue I was following his journal at the time...
