Today the 2 main MVP candidates, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan, matched up. Guess who won? The injury depleted Timberwolves. I'm boycotting the NBA for 2 months if Sam Cassell isn't an Allstar this season.

Sam Cassell is undoubtly one of the best, he's a very good offensive and defensive player. Unselfish alot of the time too. I'm so glad the trade was made, the friendship between these three, the chemistry, it just took off so quickly. It's like there's no such thing as support but more or less, simply Teamwork.
Francis deserves to be an all-star. He has stepped up his play this season and has become a better passer. If you think Cassell deserves to start in the ASG, most NBA fans probably think otherwise.

Mike Bibby looked like an alien at times too against the Lakers in that west finals two years ago. Oh yeah, and I also agree with Cassell playing better than Francis. A lot of Francis' votes just come from his popularity, and I don't think he's had a great season so far. Cassell has been playing excellent, and I would love to see him somehow get into that All-Star game.
I also agree that Cassell is playing better then francise. IMO I think even Yao is playing better than Stevie.

because of the fact that the starters for the allstar game are voted on by fans...sam cassel will likely not be the starter but u can count on the coaches voting cassel to be in the show

Alien had been excellent with the two other stars sprewell and Garnett, that's why he came out so good, cause he had someone else good to play with. Now franchise had always been like that and looks probably a little bit better and he's alwys been an effective player and that. But yeah I agree Alien should be an allstar rather than Francis this year.
Sam "I Am" Cassell should be in the All-Star game. He's been playing some great basketball out there. Rejuvinated under KG, and he wants to win. *Just like Spree* It's a shame if he is not in it, especially since the fans WILL NOT vote him in to start. Two reasons though: 1. ) He's ugly. No offense, because he's got game and all, but a lot of people vote for fan-favorites, and uh, Sam Cassell isn't a fan favorite. 2. ) Too many Western Conference people that are more popular than him. That sucks. However, he should be playing off the bench. If not, what the hell are Coaches thinking?
Yeah, its a pity that he's not as popular but I can understand people. Especially will he no gain female fans with his alien face (sorry, no offence but its just the reality)
Cassell will definetley get voted in by the coaches, Francis was the #2 guard for voting last time they put the results out, then it was Payton and Nash If I remember correctly. Wish Ray Allen played more of the season, he would be there without a doubt. I also personally think Maggette deserves a look, he's playing very well this season.
