I understand that the East is definitely not the West. However, the bucks, a team predicted to be near the bottom of the standings, has vastly outplayed this prediction by a combination of hard work, team play, and good coaching. It's hard to believe that the lowly bucks are the East's top scoring team at 95.2 points per game. If Michael Redd doesn't make the all-star game I'll give up on the nba. At shooting guard he's averaging 21.6 points per game plus 6 rebounds and good defense against the opponents best every night. I just have to say, I like the way this team plays with heart and determination. And, of course, how about the Ku!!! (toni kukoc)
Umm... shooting guards shoot. He just happens to be quite an accurate one. I did expect this, though. TJ Ford has brought this team some new, young talent, and Michael Redd has really stepped up his game. Who really heard his name before this year? Also, Desmond Mason is starting to work well with his teammates to provide a spark off the bench. Kukoc hasn't quite lost it yet, either. They are a decent team.
Tim Thomas always is forgotten ... I think he's , behind Redd, the most important person on the team... Together with Redd their leader and their co-star... Altough he's a very weak rebounder for his size he has a scoring touch and can shoot from anywhere... He's not a bad defender,too...
Tim Thomas is expendable, and here's why: He's making $11,825,000 this season, and for the next and final 2 seasons left on his contract, that number increases a million a season. Currently, he's averaging 14.9 points a game. Can you name me any other player making Kobe like money averaging lower than 20 ppg? (besides Ben Wallace, who easily makes up for points in the shot block and rebounds column) The Bucks are simply incurring a substantial luxury tax hit for a sixth man who never could fill Big Dog's shoes. I'd keep him if he made what his numbers proved. By the way, go Bucks...
I admitt, I am shocked to see the Bucks this good. Redd has really turned into a good player. Good job Bucks, but keep it up.
Former OSU Buckeye Michael Redd, him and Penn were awesome, but I would have never expected Redd to be this good. Awesome to see. BTW, welcome to JBB MiltownBeers Maybe you can give this forum some life.
I warned you all before the season even started about how good Michael Redd would be. Bucks have also won 10 straight home games
I always loved this team, especially with hardworkers like Redd and DMase on it. They're hard workers and great on the offensive end, they try hard for boards as well. Same goes for TJ Ford, the only thing this team truly lacks is some size and strength. Probably one of the better, more purer teams.
This team is doing great, they have surprised me thus far. Reed, Thomas and Mason are all putting up great numbers and are playing well together. With great coaching and a solid rookie in TJ Ford, playoffs are a possibility. They are an exciting up and coming team.
REDD + THOMAS + KUKOC + T.J. = THE BEST T.E.A.M.(dun get it twisted) IN THE LEAGUE. SLAM should do a cover on'em... fa sho!!!
