South-Panthers
West-Seahawks
(the only sure one is Eagles, i have trouble the other 3)

Wild Card-Dallas and Saints

again i have no problem picking the cowboys, but i hesitate when i wrote NO, there is only 2 certain picks IMO

Thought i'd say What's up since I'm new to this board...don't know why I didn't join this forum earlier. Anyway, I'll do predictions for both conferences since i'm bored:

AFC

East
Patriots
(everyone else a distant 2nd)

North
Bengals
Ravens
Steelers
Browns

South
Colts
Titans
Jaguars
Texans

West
Chiefs
Broncos
Raiders
Chargers

NFC

East (all 4 teams within a couple games of each other, close)
Eagles
Cowboys
Redskins
Giants

North
Vikings
Packers
Lions
Bears

South
Panthers
Falcons
Saints
Buccaneers

West
Rams
Seahawks
Cardinals
49ers

Note: All the hype for a Super Bowl appearance for the Seahawks and they wont even make the playoffs? Believe it. I think they'll win 9 games or so but ultimately the Rams will win the West. My reasoning is that Faulk is going to have a Faulk season, not like the past couple years. The Rams original SB winning team is almost gone and I believe this is their last run at it all, but the original Greatest Show on Turf players are still there: Faulk, Holt, Bruce.

Playoff Scenarios

AFC

1 Colts_______Colts___
|_Colts_
4 Bengals___Bengals_| |
5 Titans___| |
|_Colts_
3 Chiefs__ |
6 Ravens_|_Chiefs_ |
|_Chiefs__|
2 Patriots________________|

NFC

1 Vikings_______Vikings_
|_Vikings_
4 Panthers___Cowboys__| |
5 Cowboys__| |
|_Vikings_
3 Rams____ |
6 Redskins_|_Redskins_ |
|_Eagles_ _|
2 Eagles_____________________|

Super bowl is Colts vs. Vikings, I'm not going to pick the winner of that.

And no I don't always pick the Vikings to be in the Super Bowl just because I'm a Vikings fan(It bugs me when people do that). [IMG]

Welcome abord O Town. I like the predicitions.

Colts, Chiefs, or Pats will represent the AFC. Vikes, Seahawks, Panthers, or possibly Eagles will represent the NFC.

I like the NFC predicts BL. I wouldnt hesitate with NO. They have been pretty good these past few seasons offensive wise. They have pretty good threats on offense :A.Brooks, Duece, Horn, Stallworth, Williams, Paython. I wouldnt be surprised to see them go 8-8 or even 9-7 thois season

The only choice I thought was not quite up to speed is the Bengals. Being a fan of the AFC North (specifically Pittsburgh), and watching these teams play, it's hard to believe Carson Palmer will lead the Bengals to the North Championship. Beating Pittsburgh & Baltimore won't be an easy task.

Just keep overlooking the Steelers all you Doubting Thomases.... that's the way we like it when we put a boot in your a&*!!

i dont overlooke the steelers, ive said they can win the division a few times.

i have problems picking the seahawks tho, it seems like their everybodys pick, and usually the team like that doesnt live up to the hype. especially a team like seatle that sucks on the road.

Welcome Otown.

My predictions:

AFC Divisional winners:
Pats
Bengals
Colts
Chiefs

AFC Wildcards:
Ravens
TItans

I struggled with the North. There is such a small difference between the Steelers, the Bengals, and the Ravens. I think the Browns will be better too. Everyone has question marks. All could be pretty decent teams or fall down to the cellar.

NFC Divisional winners:
Eagles
Vikings
Panthers
Seahawks

NFC Wildcards:
Cowboys
Saints

The four NFC divisional picks should make it someway or another. The wildcards are guesses and bubbles at best. Rams are hard to keep off the list, as are a few others.

O-Town, I like your predictions, but I'm going to have to say the Seahawks get a wild card spot instead of the Cowboys or Redskins through tiebreaker. I think you're right, the east will be close, but I think they will beat on eachother enough to keep their records down, and that Seattle will get in. I don't think Seattle will go far, but they are a decent enough team.

It's tough not to pick Seattle. They are finally putting it together on defense and the offense gets more potent every season. Hasselbeck, Alexander, Jackson, and Robinson... not to mention Stevens is a beast.

Philly's degrading, the Rams are done, Carolina won't be quite the team they were last year, and Dallas is still a year or two away from being really good. (IMO)

how are we degrading? we get younger and dont get worse.

its tough to pick seatle to go past the NFCCG, im not saying they arent playoff caliber, i think they will win the division but unless they get Home field, i dont think they can go to the superbowl. they are a great home team, but bad on the road, and in the playoffs seatle is off the map compared to philly, or carolina or tampa/ atlanta. mostteams are east coast, far awayfrom seatle. itll be tough for them to live up to expectations.

I'm surprised at the lack of lovin' for the Packers in this thread. Everyone's thinking Viqueens this year, eh?

Pack isn't great - but I will agree they aren't getting enough love. They are still a very good team. The "Viqueens" may be a year away yet, but they still have enough firepower to prove that the first half of the season wasnt a complete fluke. I think it will come down to the wire.
