He might not be the "biggest victim" but Zydrunas Ilguaskas suffered several devastating foot injuries that caused him to miss the better part of about 3 seasons. He fought through them and is still one of the better big men in the leauge, but his quickness and mobility were never the same after the initial injury. Its a shame because he could have really been something special.

I forgot about Grant Hill. He hasn't played for a long time. Magic isn't getting their money worth.

I think we should change Ming's name to JBB's Own Mr.One Liner  or the JBB Yes Man

Sean Elliot, Zo, Tim Hardaway, Kevin Johnson, Grant Hill, and Penny Hardaway. ALL great players who couldve had better careers but injury stopped their courses.

When I was playing a lot of basketball, Penny Hardaway was one of the superstar players that I most admired. I stopped following up on the NBA closely until I started playing bball more frequently again. Anyways, if it wasn't for his injuries he could have continued to be an all-star player.

I remember an issue of Slam Magazine with Penny & MJ on the cover. They were both in mid-air & Penny was making a pass with MJ guarding him.

Elliot had a very good career, sure he got injured, some early in his career, but the big one you are talking about came late.

Tim Hardaway too had a very good career, same for KJ, I really don't believe you know what you are talking about by throwing these names out there so easily.

Everybody goes through injuries, but these cats still put enough time in to be all stars and made a name for themselves. We have seen years of these players in their prime and have many memories of their play.
