And there are a lot of guys out there whose teams have better records than ours." </div> Good story, also talks about the magic's draft plans. Full Story
Very good for Tmac, it will be interesting to see though when the time comes if he will step down from his spot or play.

That is just to prevent comments from mad fans (sportsrock sometimes) and other critics..All Star game is because of individual talent..not about your team record...he has all star talent...so he should be there and he will be there..just had to say that to feel better..if he wasnt voted in and was a coach decision then it was diff..but ofcourse diff because for him to not be voted in it means he is not all star talent..and will be voted in because of team records leadership and stuff like that...good job T-Mac and give me some windmill dunks!!
Whats this? Tracy says something smart? I don't know.. Sounds like hes trying to hard to say something good... But still.. If he means it.. Hey we might be looking at a new leaf..
I didn't mean it in a bad way. Of course he deserves to start in the All-Star game. I can't believe everyone is considering his stats to be bad. You can't say anything bad about a near 26 ppg guy with around 5 boards and 5 assists a game. Those are great numbers.
He is a great player and hard working. The All-Star game is for great individuals, not really for great team players since most of the offensive guys who love handling and having possession of the ball go. He deserves the spot and should go, he use to put up alot more boards though. Seeing that he is the offensive individual he is, he deserves the place.
Look at it this way. That's another game he doesn't have to play if he chooses not to and then he get's some much needed R&R

I hope he goes to All-Star, picks up some positive energy and comes back pissed off at hearing about other teams' winning situations. I hope this fuels him to want the MAGIC to finish strong. Oh - and another surprise-surprise type dunk wouldn't hurt either!!

I feel McGrady should still keep his mouth shut, I'm a little iffy on what he said about this situation. He must go to the All-Star game if selected a starter, believe so if a coach picks him too. Karl Malone never wanted to go to All-Star games, but had to, or else expect a letter from Mr.Stern.
He deserves to play in it. But I dunno, it's his choice. I don't know why he's bringing his team's situation into it. The All-Star game isn't about your team, it's about you.
