<div class="quote_poster">Quoting :</div><div class="quote_post">If the Magic do land the top NBA lottery pick -- and they're losing enough to do it -- they likely will pick 7-foot-4, 260-pound Russian giant Pavel Podkolzine.

General Manager John Gabriel said the Magic have seen Podkolzine, who currently is playing in Italy, four times.

Podkolzine, who turned 19 on Thursday, withdrew from last year's draft after wowing scouts at a camp in Chicago. He reportedly pulled out because he was suffering from a pituitary-gland ailment.

Gabriel said Podkolzine is expected to have surgery to correct the problem.</div>

I don't think he'll be any good, I just don't have a good feeling about what I heard about the guy. He'll probably be like Shawn Bradley.

"With the ball he does'nt take any initiative."
"Has a long way to figuring out post moves."

Could be another hit and miss pick.

"Defensively he does not have a good feeling for the game or sense of position."

Hes smoking the "The Tallest Guy Is The Best" Drug..

Well hell if he isnt that good defensively.. Get someone else.. I was looking up on Okafor.. And he would play Power Forward in the NBA.. A Power Forward is not someone the magic need.. They need a Center.. We need a tall-strong guy that can block and put pressure to anyone that drives into the paint...

In that case... This Pavel guy isnt what we need..

When we draft this guy, he won't develop for a couple of years. Also he had a surgery, remember the last guy who had surgery's? Grant Hill. Yes, he's tall. Yes he's got potential, but if he was 6 foot 11, he wouldn't make the NBA from what the thing says.
