Da EA Curse First Vick goes down then heatley goes down and now VInce!!!!!!!!!BTW Some idiot created a new cover for NBA LIve 2004 just thought id pass it on http://pic2.picturetrail.com/VOL36/1810654...85/42956838.jpg
lol, that's just too funny... It's actually the Madden curse, not EA. Vince is just injury prone. Last year, it was jason kidd on the cover, the year before was stevie franchise, the year before was garnett, the year before was duncan, and the year before that was walker. All of them had great seasons when they were on the cover. You can't call it the EA curse just based on one season...
Its actually the EA curse. First it was Randy Johnson for Baseball then it was Vick, then it was Dany Heatley for hockey....Vince Carter remains to be seen if he continues the curse.
Well Vince is supposively suppose to play Monday so... We won't be able to disregard this 'till then.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtVision:</div><div class="quote_post">Its actually the EA curse. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">So you're saying it has to happen only one year to be considered a curse??</div> Lets just say it may have started out as the Madden curse as you call it, but it has evolved into the EA curse now. I wish we can take a poll on this one because this is the first I have heard of the Madden curse. To anyone listening...is it the EA curse or the Madden Curse?

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting CourtVision:</div><div class="quote_post">I thought I just explained it? btw slam magazine calls it the EA curse.</div> that's the best you can do? I dont' watch hockey so I can't comment on that, but Vince has been injured the last two seasons, and if he's injured now, it's just a trend, not a curse...Randy Johnson was 40 years old, and throwing 200+ innings every year. He was bound to get hurt...not to metion he's a strikeout pitcher which runs up his pitch count... that covers the span of....ONE sports season
did u just say "i dont watch hockey" to him talking about SLAM magazine? loool if im mistaken, my bad
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting spawn:</div><div class="quote_post">did u just say "i dont watch hockey" to him talking about SLAM magazine? loool if im mistaken, my bad</div> lol, nah, its refering to the third post from the top. He says randy johnson got injured, and some hocky dude, and now vince...which like i said spans one WHOLE season...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">that's the best you can do? If they are injured then they are injured. Having 3 out of 4(vince is pending) major sports figures on the covers of EA all injured for extended periods of time is why it is called the EA curse. Yah its one season, buts thats how the whole curse thing got known in the first place...because of the injuries that happened this year. Even some newspapers had articles on the EA curse which included hockey, basketball, football, and baseball. If people call it the EA curse and even news publications call it the EA curse and even the number 1 basketball magazine calls it the EA curse than thats what I'm gonna call it.
hahaha that cover is mad funny! You Vince fans need to chilex, Im a huge Vince fan too, he'll get his thing together, dun blame it on some EA curse. He's just injury prone. Whatever he's made out of.... must be soft as hell tho.

I think the whole EA/Madden curse applies to guys that have been healthy the whole career but after the cover they go down. Everyone knows Vince gets injured if the wind blows too hard.... lol
